Story
MEET REDDY Contact Patty Moss at pmoss@comline.com. Reddy is a very special boy. After his owner died, we found him hovering in a closet and sensed something wasn’t right. The eye specialist confirmed that he suffered from a luxating lens, cataracts, and glaucoma, the pressure from which was causing him pounding headaches. He was completely blind. Surgery was the only solution to easing the pain. Well, Reddy recovered like a champ! Thanks to the patience and loving care of his foster mom, Marcia, and his whiskers, he navigates through her home with confidence and ease. If she pats on her chair or says, “Come,” he will come to her. He tilts his head and seems to look at her because of his enhanced hearing. Reddy never fails to find his food dish or his litter box. So, if you are looking for a healthy, 12-year-old cat, with a rich orange-red coat, and an affectionate spirit, you’ve found him. The best home would be with someone experienced with blind cats and no other pets currently. However, you’ll be provided with training, and after two weeks in your loving home, you won’t even know he’s blind. If you’re ready to meet Reddy, contact Patty Moss at 949-290-3406 or pmoss@comline.com. For more information, please go to https://lagunawoodscatclub.com. Story
Lucky, this adorable kitten, was found wandering alone the mean streets of Laguna Woods Village. A Cat Club member kept him safe while we searched for his human. When none came forward, he was named Lucky (since he is!) and now he’s looking for his forever home. He's about 6 months old, and he has been neutered, given his initial round of shots, vet-checked, and is in excellent health. What a fabulous boy! Lucky likes everyone and has all that fun kitten energy and then some. He loves to play – toys, lasers, he might enjoy a cat friend to play with too. This kitten will be perfect as a loving, funny companion. Lucky needs a loving home, maybe with you? Check out Lucky's video to see him in action. To find out more about Lucky or to meet him, please contact Gina Hall at 949-330-0892 or ginahall0892@gmail.com for information on adopting this sweet lucky boy. You'll be so glad you did!

Story
**Contact: Lonnie Painter at 949-533-7947 or lonniepainter@yahoo.com** Tigger is an 8-year-old chocolate brown tabby boy. His face might have some tiger fierceness, but he's a big softie. Tigger's human had to give him up due to illness so Tigger's hoping for a new loving home. An early owner had Tigger's front claws removed when he was young, but he recovered without issues. Tigger has been vet-checked, he's up-to-date on his shots, and he's healthy. He's a low-key, laid-back cat who adjusted quickly to his foster environment and to living with his foster's other cats. Tigger's favorite toys are feather wands and balls, and he also enjoys watching the birds outside his windows. He does like petting but it might take him a minute to decide you're OK. Tigger's a good boy, and he will make someone a wonderful furry friend and companion. To meet this cool cat Tigger, contact Lonnie Painter at 949-533-7947 or lonniepainter@yahoo.com. You'll be very glad you did!

Story
The cat family was raised in a private homeI’M DAISY THE MOST LOVED KITTEN. Everyone tells me that I am their favorite and so I know that I am cute being black and white with my black mustache that everyone comments on! I like to be the center of attention and I’m a big hit on Zoom calls! People are always asking to adopt just me, but I love my sister Java and want to a home that would love us both! My sister Java lets me be the boss and I like that! But I’m not just a great looking kitten. I just want to love everyone! I’m always the first to run up to people and get my belly rubbed. I like to explore and pretend to hunt my sister and then we play chase. My sister Java is very special to me and I would like us to grow up together! The two of us lay on top of the cat tree and hang over the edge and snooze. If my sister is still sleeping and can’t play then I chase my tail and then I will play with my toys. I am looking for us to be adopted by a person that makes the time to take care of us just right! I’m a very clean kitten and I am fastidious about having a clean box.  If you rub my tummy then I will be your best friend always and I will adore you! For more info, call or text DiAnna at 949-759-3646 or email at DiAnna@animalnetwork.org. This kitty is being cared for by Community Animal Network, a non-profit organization founded by DiAnna Pfaff-Martin in 1996. C.A.N is a veterinary medical rescue that helps local animals find forever homes. The animals are cared for and raised in private homes. The founder of Community Animal Network, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, is very particular about the quality of raising the kittens with vitamins, proper diet. A board-certified feline specialist provides the animals with their veterinary medical care and Community Animal Network offers veterinary internships to young people as young as 15 that have aspirations of becoming a vet.  Feral kittens are tamed to "pet quality" and rescue cats that are shy are disclosed and termed, "rescue quality" with a lower placement fee. With all adoptions DiAnna Pfaff-Martin gives valuable information about cat care in a "feline pet-parenting consultation" to adopters. The most current information is made available about how to keep your cat healthy, pet foods, litters and how to make your cat more affectionate and her specialty is teaching, “How To Make Cats Happy!” The AVID microchip is implanted in every cat and the chips’ registration fee is included in the adoption and the animals come with a 30 day heath commitment and return policy. I’m a very clean kitten and I am fastidious about having a clean box.  If you rub my tummy then I will be your best friend always and I will adore you!   And I'M JAVA THE SWEETEST KITTEN. I look like a Bombay breed cat. People say I am a gentle kitten with a mellow attitude and I know that I’m very lady-like. I’m told that I take after my mom with a calm personality. My sibling Daisy (Black & White with a cute mustache) is my best friend and she is really outgoing.  I let Daisy take the lead and she will run up to everyone and I’m always right behind her to say “Hi”, but I like to observe the scene for a moment before stepping in when meeting new people. I am very polite and let my sister Daisy begin eating first but when it comes to play, I am “hunting” my toys and run from one side of the room to the other practicing my “prey skills’ to get them! My favorite thing is to run and slide on the wood floor… “Wheee, What Fun!” When I’m not playing, I’m cuddling with my Mom Bella, or my sister. I like to be held and cuddled.  I’m sure when you meet me that you will agree that my fur is so soft and you will never want to put me down.   Community Animal Network didn’t separate us from our mom like others do. I’ve had a good upbringing and been nurtured and have had a good healthy start with mothers’ milk and my mom was provided with good nutrition when she was pregnant and not found starving like so many other moms. For more info, call or text DiAnna at 949-759-3646 or email at DiAnna@animalnetwork.org. Story
Neo is a 4 year old purebred British short hair. He is extremely handsome, sweet, gentle, calm, quiet, curious, and independent. He really enjoys being brushed and scratched under the chin. Neo loves to watch “cat tv” (birds out windows), play with toys (ball on roller track, toy mice, fishing pole with bird feathers on the end), and nap. He will only “meow” if he has a toy mouse in his mouth, other than that you rarely hear him. He has only lived indoors and is a very happy indoor cat. He can be shy around new people, but he always warms up to them. He is a lovely cat with a beautiful personality and beautiful soft coat. He gets along very well with my 1 year old puppy. I have to rehome him due to my asthma/allergies. Neo needs to be on a prescription urinary diet. Adoption fee is $200 - 300 and is negotiable. (He will come with food, litter, litter box, and toys)

Story
Meet Kazu! This sweet and handsome boy is a 1 year old Bombay mix who is a super affectionate and cuddly cat with a big personality. He's also a big boy and has a huge round face that he loves to cuddle up against people — he adores humans and will come up to newcomers to your house, but he likes being the king of the household, so he's looking to be the only cat ideally, unless the house happens to be really big! Kazu is mellow, laid-back, and has a very chill personality. He's always ready for snuggling with you during movie nights and will run up to you when you come home from work. He's also perfectly litterbox trained! Kazu is patiently waiting on his forever home.
