Story
Minnie and her brother Sonny are a sweet, friendly, gentle pair of kitties! They are very easy going and affectionate, especially Sonny. They are OK with other friendly cats, but would be just as happy as the only felines in the house. They haven't been around kids but would probably be OK with gentle, well mannered children. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Minnie and Sonny will be available for adoption this Saturday (12/16) at Kahoots in Temecula from 10am to 2pm.

Story
Mama cat aka DeMommy is a sweet, quiet, "chunky monkey". She is a bit shy at first but warms up once she gets to know you. She loves pets on the head and scritches right above her tail. She is okay with other mellow cats and would probably do best in a relaxed household. If you are interested in this darling girl please contact fosterhueysrescue@gmail.com

Story
Harley is an extremely loving, loyal cat who loves attention and belly-rubs. I have moved to a place where I can no longer have a pet and sadly need to re-home her. I love her to bits and she is worthy of a great home. Harley does have HIV (as I was told by the person I adopted her from years ago), so she cannot be with other cats. She does not require additional medical attention and she is an indoor cat. She is fine with other animals and multiple people. She is a wonderful companion, and I have multiple scratching posts, litter, and toys I can provide.

Story
Penelope is 7 years old, we found her and her brother as kittens abandoned by their mom. We handraised them both and love them dearly. She is a very loving cat that loves to cuddle and has never scratched or bitten us. Although we hate to part with her, we recently moved to an area with feral cats and had a baby, which has been too much for Penelope. She is stressed out and acting out by going outside of her litterbox. We have tried to the best of our abilities to help her including going to the vet but it has been a year and we have reached our limits. As much as it breaks our hearts to have to give her up we have to put our child's health first. We are hoping to find another loving family who can provide a stable and calm environment for her to thrive.

Check out Bongo's latest publicity photos above! Miss Bongo is about 10 months old and is affectionate and spunky. We have been caring for her for about 5 months since she and her litter were abandoned by neighbors. We already have 2 cats and need to find a home for Bongo. She gets along well with other cats. She loves playing with her felt mice and soccer with a whiffle golfball. She gets the zoomies, very entertaining! I know she would be a great addition to your family!

Story
Hi!! An old coworker of mine found this little guy in Homeland on January 11th and I’ve had him since then. My coworker attempted to look for his owner since I live in San Jacinto but we didn’t have any luck. When I took him he was malnourished with fleas and I got him treated for everything and I’d be happy to provide his medical records. He has calicivirus which is a chronic respiratory illness with no cure but he can live with other cats as long as they are vaccinated with the FVRCP vaccine. I usually take him into the restroom with me when I take hot showers to help with his breathing if he needs it, aside from that, he’s pretty okay on his own. He is a very sweet cat, ever since he’s been off quarantine, he’s been socialized with my 3 (spayed) female cats and my dog. He loves to purr and be pet, he loves to eat and play all the time so he’d be great to have with another kitten or playful dog/cat. Please reach out if you’re interested :) I’m keeping him until he finds a home

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Bettye (rescuenrehome@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Courtesy post for Rescue and Rehome Inc. Please be sure to contact RESCUENREHOME@GMAIL.COM for more information. Please do not contact Dogz In Need as we have limited information on this sweet cat. Brady is a very friendly, outgoing cat who gets along great with people, but not necessarily with other cats. He loves to get in your lap and get head and neck scratches! He is looking for an indoor home where he will be the only cat. Brady was rescued as a stray at a large senior apartment complex where his owner either passed away or moved away and left him behind. It appears he had a rough life because not only is he FIV+, but most of his teeth are missing or broken. Brady has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. He is listed as special needs because he tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV+ cats can and do live quite normal lives - in quality - in duration - and in happiness.  FIV+ cats have long lived under a cloud of confusion and misunderstanding. Now, fortunately, that is much less the case as the medical community has become more and more aware of what the presence of FIV really means. We now know that FIV is basically a virus whose presence has the potential to cause some weakening of a cats' immune system. It does not seem to have much impact on lifespan, as FIV+ cats can and do live quite normal lives - in quality - in duration - and in happiness. We now know that this is a cat-only virus and cannot be passed to humans or to other species of animals. We have also learned that FIV does not pass to other cats through casual friendly contact. Experience, studies and the medical research community have, for numerous years now, watched positive cats live peacefully together with non-positive cats without transference. It takes a seriously deep bite wound or blood transfusion from an FIV+ cat to infect another, so a typical household where cats live in harmony can blend FIV+ and FIV- cats without worry. It is more difficult for FIV+ cats to find their forever homes though, because of the previous stigmas associated with it.  Please consider opening your home and hearts to Brady. Brady has so very much to give. You will be richly rewarded! Please email us at RESCUENREHOME@GMAIL.COM with a little info about you, your family, your other pets and where you live. $25 adoption fee, cash only, which is to help reimburse for a portion of expenses of cat rescue and rehabilitation. Location: Quail Valley/Menifee, Southwest Riverside County.
