Story
Kitten Paws was found wandering in Laguna Woods Village. He's gone unclaimed, so we're looking for a forever home for him. Paws is a handsome youngster. This mostly black boy has white under his chin and on all four paws. His short fur shines. He looks at you with large yellowish eyes. The vet estimates Paws to be 6 months old, and he's healthy. He's had his first rounds of kitten shots and was neutered recently. He's growing well and using his litter box perfectly. Like good kittens everywhere, Paws enjoys catnip toys and cardboard boxes. He's an athletic player and chaser. Paws is friendly and enjoys petting and playing with people, but he's not comfortable with other cats. He will need to be an only cat. Paws is ready for visitors! Please contact Judy Myton at 612-425-6125 or judymyton@gmail.com. You won't be sorry!

Story
Max and Katie are 13-year-old littermates, and a bonded pair. They have always been together and need to stay together in a new forever home. This pair were the pampered pets of a longtime resident who has had to move into memory care. Max is darker and has tabby stripes; Katie is more tortie with some warm brown in her soft fur. Both have large greenish eyes. Vet-checked and healthy, Max and Katie have been through a lot of changes, and depend on each other. They groom each other. Katie is more shy, and in stressful situations it seems to calm her to have Max nearby. Max and Katie like petting and grooming attention from people too. Both will roll over for a nice tummy rub. Max and Katie are good laid-back cats who don't get into mischief. They're not interested in jumping on things. They both love their catnip scratcher boxes. Katie is a talker and she often chatters to herself or to her foster. They seem content to hang out, relax, and nap, which makes them easy pets to care for and love. To meet Max and Katie, text Gina Hall at 949-330-0892. To meet Max and Katie, text Gina Hall at 949-330-0892. You'll be happy you did!

Story
WANDERING YOUNGSTER Meet Belle, a gray and white kitten found wandering in Laguna Woods Village. A resident found her, scared and hungry, in a carport and was able to befriend her. Now we're helping her find her forever home. See Belle in her short video. Belle is about 6 months old. She's been vet-checked, has been spayed, and is current on her shots. She can be shy at first, but is warming to the inside life. She's adjusting well to her foster home and growing into a lovely cat girl. This playful kitty has plenty of love to give and will make a wonderful feline friend. If you would like to meet Belle, contact Lonnie Painter at 949-533-7947.

SIS-AND-BRO COMBO Josie and Jake are 3-year-old sibling cats who need a new home. They've always been together and need to be adopted together. Both cats have gleaming black fur. Josie is almost all black with some white under her chin. See them in their video short. The pair have been vet-checked and are current on shots. Their favorite human passed away recently, so they've been through some stress. Josie is a little shy, and takes her time to warm to people. Jake and Josie have settled in quickly with their foster. Both do enjoy petting attention. Josie was a lap cat with her previous owner so in time she might be again. To meet this sis-and-bro combo, contact Carolyn Maxwell, 949-742-0066 or maxwell.carolyn1@gmail.com .

MEET MR SPECKLES! Approximately one year old male and such a sweetheart. Speckles is fully vetted, neutered and given flea meds. He is socialized and is fostered in a house with dogs, cats and small children. He is an alpha with a funny personality who loves to play but then snuggles for love and cuddles. The ultimate lover. He gets along with everyone! His favorite toy is his ball and he chases it in and out of the cat tunnel with his mates. He will thrive in a home with other cats or solo. He is very cuddly and likes to sleep at the foot of the bed. He kneads and purrs and is just a lovely companion. He would be fantastic with a family or just someone who wants a furry friend. Mr Speckles will need to be microchipped.

Story
The cat family was raised in a private homeI’M DAISY THE MOST LOVED KITTEN. Everyone tells me that I am their favorite and so I know that I am cute being black and white with my black mustache that everyone comments on! I like to be the center of attention and I’m a big hit on Zoom calls! People are always asking to adopt just me, but I love my sister Java and want to a home that would love us both! My sister Java lets me be the boss and I like that! But I’m not just a great looking kitten. I just want to love everyone! I’m always the first to run up to people and get my belly rubbed. I like to explore and pretend to hunt my sister and then we play chase. My sister Java is very special to me and I would like us to grow up together! The two of us lay on top of the cat tree and hang over the edge and snooze. If my sister is still sleeping and can’t play then I chase my tail and then I will play with my toys. I am looking for us to be adopted by a person that makes the time to take care of us just right! I’m a very clean kitten and I am fastidious about having a clean box.  If you rub my tummy then I will be your best friend always and I will adore you! For more info, call or text DiAnna at 949-759-3646 or email at DiAnna@animalnetwork.org. This kitty is being cared for by Community Animal Network, a non-profit organization founded by DiAnna Pfaff-Martin in 1996. C.A.N is a veterinary medical rescue that helps local animals find forever homes. The animals are cared for and raised in private homes. The founder of Community Animal Network, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, is very particular about the quality of raising the kittens with vitamins, proper diet. A board-certified feline specialist provides the animals with their veterinary medical care and Community Animal Network offers veterinary internships to young people as young as 15 that have aspirations of becoming a vet.  Feral kittens are tamed to "pet quality" and rescue cats that are shy are disclosed and termed, "rescue quality" with a lower placement fee. With all adoptions DiAnna Pfaff-Martin gives valuable information about cat care in a "feline pet-parenting consultation" to adopters. The most current information is made available about how to keep your cat healthy, pet foods, litters and how to make your cat more affectionate and her specialty is teaching, “How To Make Cats Happy!” The AVID microchip is implanted in every cat and the chips’ registration fee is included in the adoption and the animals come with a 30 day heath commitment and return policy. Daisy has a really super personality & She Loves JavaI’M DAISY THE MOST LOVED KITTEN. Everyone tells me that I am their favorite and so I know that I am cute being black and white with my black mustache that everyone comments on! I’m a very clean kitten and I am fastidious about having a clean box.  If you rub my tummy then I will be your best friend always and I will adore you!   And I'M JAVA THE SWEETEST KITTEN. I look like a Bombay breed cat. People say I am a gentle kitten with a mellow attitude and I know that I’m very lady-like. I’m told that I take after my mom with a calm personality. My sibling Daisy (Black & White with a cute mustache) is my best friend and she is really outgoing.  I let Daisy take the lead and she will run up to everyone and I’m always right behind her to say “Hi”, but I like to observe the scene for a moment before stepping in when meeting new people. I am very polite and let my sister Daisy begin eating first but when it comes to play, I am “hunting” my toys and run from one side of the room to the other practicing my “prey skills’ to get them! My favorite thing is to run and slide on the wood floor… “Wheee, What Fun!” When I’m not playing, I’m cuddling with my Mom Bella, or my sister. I like to be held and cuddled.  I’m sure when you meet me that you will agree that my fur is so soft and you will never want to put me down.   Community Animal Network didn’t separate us from our mom like others do. I’ve had a good upbringing and been nurtured and have had a good healthy start with mothers’ milk and my mom was provided with good nutrition when she was pregnant and not found starving like so many other moms. For more info, call or text DiAnna at 949-759-3646 or email at DiAnna@animalnetwork.org.
