She was found in Santa Ana at 4 months old, and at the time of writing this she is 5 months old. We have done our best to socialize her but she needs a lot more attention in this than we can give her. She is very skittish but is food motivated. She does hiss a lot but then immediately starts purring. She started attacking our cat so it is time that she finds a forever home with someone who has the time and patience to work with her. She had the potential to be an amazing pet. She received all her kitten shots, will need her boosters in one year. She has not been spayed yet as the vet suggested waiting until she was 6 months old.

Meet Stanley! He was found on the 5 freeway in Orange County and ended up at the shelter for two long months. Stanley was one of their longest residents and found himself on the euthanasia list with a short deadline. I bailed him out of jail and took him home to let him decompress. His personality immediately emerged as loving, playful and well behaved. He is so thankful to be saved and it shows. Stanley loves to play with our kids and other cats. He also loves our 70 lb German shepherd. Stanley loves to talk and ask for pets. He enjoys lounging at the window in the sun and snuggling on his blankie. He is soon learning to be a lap cat but isn’t quite there yet. Although he loves all the pets. Stanley would be amazing in any home that wants a new friend and to give him a chance. He’s survived death twice and he deserves to live the rest of his 9 lives happily ever after.

Grace has been apart of our family since she was weaned from her mom 7 years ago. A friend of a friend rescued a feral cat and we adopted 2 of the kittens. They have lived happily together until about a year ago. The big orange boy is bullying poor little Grace. Her stress has caused throwing up from eating too fast to get away from him and she has been peeing outside the boxes—that is until she started living in the bathroom. With her own private space she is back to her sweet self and no throw-up or accidents. She does not deserve to live in a tiny bathroom with no window to look out of and no one to jump on to say hi to when she wants attention. She is really easy to live with. She likes to make biscuits on your belly before she decides to climb up and cuddle with you. She is tiny, only 4.5-5 lbs. All tests in the past few months have come back all healthy.

In early September, a resident noticed a small black and white cat in the foliage and contacted the Cat Club. Coyotes are known to frequent the area, so that cat -- actually a kitten -- was quickly brought inside to safety. We never found out how the kitten came to be wandering alone outside. That kitten, Ebony, is about 4 months old now and as cute as can be. She was recently spayed, she's had her kitten shots, and she's a healthy, active tuxedo girl. Ebony's pretty too, with shiny black fur and bright white nose, chest, and feet. Ebony's very affectionate. She loves to purr away while she sits on her foster's lap and get pets. Like all good kittens, Ebony also likes to play. She's a joy to watch with all that kitten energy. Ebony enjoys watching the squirrels and birds out the windows. She might welcome living with another young cat who will play chase with her. Ebony is hoping for a forever home with all the love and attention a young cat needs. She's available for applications now and will be available for adoption soon.
