Story
Lily is a sweet 3 year old cat once she gets for know you. At first she might hiss or growl at new people but eventually will come out and greet everybody. Lily has a brother Sony they were adopted at a petsmart as a "bonded pair". My ex-wife and I got 3 kittens about a year ago and at first everything was good. When the ex-wife moved out last september they started peeing in the house. For the last few months I have kept them seperate from the other cats in their own room, at this time they seem okay with the other cats and they do use the little box but after a week or so outside of their room they start to pee again. They may need a home with no other cats. I have a baby on the way so I need to rehome them as soon as possible.

Story
If you're looking for a young cat that still has the heart and playfulness of a kitten, then Minivan is your girl. We adopted Mini almost 3 years ago, my son fell in love with her because she looked like a miniature version of our adult cat Van hence the name Minivan. She was always very skittish and afraid of Van, but we thought with time she would eventually get used to his presence. Unfortunately, as Mini grew larger, she chose to pick fights with our senior cat. We tried a few different remedies but here we are two years later and the confrontations continue. I don't like the stress it has put on our older cat, and our entire family. It has been a difficult decision to make, but we have decided it is best to rehome Mini for the best interest of both cats. The great news is, Mini is great with kids and loves to play. She is very well house trained and loves her meal schedules. She also loves her long afternoon naps. She is a sweet cat, she just needs the right home.

Story
Sam is a sweet 1-year-old tabby who’s looking for a patient and understanding forever home. She’s a little shy and scared at first, but with a calm environment and time to adjust, Sam’s true personality will shine through. She may need some extra reassurance, but once she feels safe, she’ll show you her softer side and could become your most loyal companion. Sam enjoys quiet spaces where she can feel secure, and while she might not be the most outgoing right away, she’ll appreciate your gentle attention and patience as she settles in. She’s a beautiful and loving girl who just needs a little extra time to warm up. Sam might take some time to trust, but she’s worth the wait if you’re looking for a shy but sweet friend to share your home with. Could you be the calm, loving person Sam needs to help her feel safe and loved? Stop in and meet my cute self in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you. Our cats and kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
