Olivia was brought to us by their feral mama cat. We took her (and her brother) in once she decided to leave them in our care. Olivia is a really sweet shy girl. But she does warm up as she gets more comfortable. She likes to snuggle and watch bird videos on my phone on you tube. She is a very curious playful girl.

Steve was brought to us by his feral mama cat. We took him (and his sister) in once she decided to leave them in our care. Steve is really coming around and is friendly and lovable. But he can be shy at times. He is a very snuggly playful boy.

I have had Andi since she was a kitten. She is a well behaved cat and loves all the attention. She would do better in a single pet household. She has been with me for 11 years and has lived along side her mom as well but I moved into a new house a year ago with my boyfriend and we got a dog shortly after we moved. I knew that she was not fond of dogs but we got a puppy thinking they would adapt better that way. Since the move she has not been getting along with my other cat and she has not adjusted to the dog either. She has been going to the bathroom outside of the litter box for a while now and I feel like I have tried everything to help her and get her to stop. So I think she would be happier and do better in a new home with no other pets. She definitely loves all the attention she can get and loves to snuggle. She just doesn’t like other pets any longer and gets jealous and she does good with children but gets skittish around them and new people. But she has never been aggressive.

Marceline the Vampire queen truly lives up to her name. She is a cat that has not forgotten her royalty. She is a cuddler and enjoys being pet frequently. She often likes to spend her days in a cat tower or laying on the bed. Marceline still has her spunk as she has recently brought back a gift from her most recent outdoor adventure. She is vocal and will let you know when she is in dire need of attention. She was my first baby and she deserves a home that she receives the full attention. She is fine with other cats but would be completely okay being the only cat that runs the house.

Meet Scotchie-Sweet Boy!! His name is really Butterscotch, but his friends call him Scotchie. We think we will call Scotchie, he seems to make a friend of everyone he meets. This sweet little guy just wandered into the neighborhood a few weeks ago, like soooo many before him. Stray cats can come and go in any location, some are truly feral and others like Scotchie are quite social. Perhaps he has had some previous human interaction, so it seems. Scotchie began making regular appearances around a few houses in the neighborhood and even ended up on our deck with all of our foster dogs!! Well, they scared him up a tree(they are actually pretty harmless)and he eventually made it safely down and on his way. Although we are a dog foster, there is a family next door that are the cat whisperers, not a job they intended on!! So far they have 3 of these local strays, and a family member has 2 more. Scotchie apparently knew where to go. As evasive as he was initially one day he had a change of heart. Tammy(the cat whisper) came home from work and had the garage door open. Scotchie made his move. He RAN in the garage and started rubbing on Tammy's legs and being very affectionate. His plan worked! Tammy took him down to the cat room downstairs for isolation and to begin his vetting journey. He was checked out, received his vaccinations and was just neutered. He is in great shape despite being on his own for who knows how long? Scotchie is over a year old, perhaps 18 months, but still a young cat. He is looking for a loving him, someone to spoil and cuddle. He enjoys being in your company and observing your activities, often in anticipation of a treat. He is highly motivated by food and not very fussy about what he eats. Pineapple enjoys sharing your bed and playing with strings and laser pointers. He finds watching birds and squirrels entertaining. You'll be pleased to know that Pineapple is diligent about using the litter box and only scratches designated scratchers, not your furniture. All in all, he's a low-maintenance cat. All cats are microchippped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment. The shelter is currently open by appointment only with an approved application. Please note, all applications are considered general and stay on file for 6 months. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, the adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.
