She has been waiting SO LONG for the right person to find her. Concha is a young girl who was living on the street, but then demanded a warm, safe environment, and pushed her way into someone's home and then eventually found her way to R&R.  At first, her rescuer thought she was pregnant as her belly appeared round. Nope! Concha was so underweight and thin, once she finally had access to food, it was determined it was just a "food baby" in her belly! She is happy now that she is in a warm home with lots of love and delicious food and particularly loves tube treats! Concha can be sweet and affectionate but can be a bit of a diva. She thinks she is a queen and expects to be treated as such! She loves to snuggle (on her terms), likes belly rubs, and loves to sit in boxes. Ernie is 7 years old and was raised by a golden retriever and a black lab. He truly actors like a dog, knows his name and will come when called. He is a polydactyl (Ernest hemmingway descendant) and has claws. He does not use them on our furniture. He willingly lets us clip his nails . My wife and I changed careers and we unfortunately don’t have time to give him the care he needs. You will absolutely love him. He deserves a good home

Fat Louie is a very calm, quiet cat 7 year old cat. She is not active unless motivated. I adopted Fat Louie from my friend and she lived with me for sometime now. She wasn't spayed until she was almost 3 and she became my pet at 4 years of age. We have moved from Virginia to Illinois and I feel that my fast lifestyle is a bit much for her. She loves to be around her parent daily and I am not around enough for her. I feel she has anxiety from her previous owner. Fat Louie is very reserved and open to meeting new people but she doesn't like other animals. She does live with her other adopted sister Bailey but they do not get along. She needs a normal same routine daily. Change is not appealing to her. She naps and does the same activities daily and her new parent needs to be ready to give her a lot of attention. She likes to be under you at all times.
