Story
Found kitten in Raytown behind our work. We have a colony of cats but they are all fixed so no idea where Story came from (she/he will be making their own story, hence the name). I'm guessing they are 3 months old. Was found Monday 7/6/26 off 63rd street & Raytown Road. I have been able to pet and pick up. It would be best if they can be adopted and grow up in a home instead of behind our work.

Story
A sweet Senior Ready for Her Next Adventure. It is with a heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our beautiful 9-year-old Tortoiseshell cat, Faye since we are moving into a RV. She has been a cherished part of our family since she was a kitten. Faye is a low-maintenance companion who loves morning pets and spends most of her day napping in cozy, sunny spots. She finds her favorite person in the morning after she hears movement and asks for pets! She loves licking our fingers after we put bacon in the oven. She has never been one to jump on counters but has a distinct nose for new house plants, which has been the only time we have found her on the counter. Since she is declawed, she needs to be a strictly indoor cat, she loves our screened-in patio though. Faye would thrive best with adults or older, respectful children who understand boundaries and know when to give her space. She has warmed up to our two young children and has begrudgingly accepted the not so gentle pets.

Story
We are sad to have to try and find another home for him and his sister CeCe (listed as well). He is a lover and a snuggler. He seeks to be close to you, loves being held and petted. He knows no strangers and has made friends with our neighbors dog.Placement comes with cat carrier, her favorite cat beds, litter box and food to get started. We want him to go to a loving home and are open to visits to make sure the fit is right for both.

Story
Fig Newton (aka Fig, aka Figaro, aka Pig) is a big personality in a little body. She is fond of running at top speed at seemingly random intervals ("hour of the Fig"), parkour'ing off walls when she sees lights and bumping headfirst into legs as a show of affection. She is very independent, choosing to cuddle on her own terms. When she does decide she'd like a snuggle, she purrs like a tiny motorboat and sometimes chews on finger tips. If she decides to sleep with you, she loves sharing a pillow or taking up a surprising amount of the bed given her little size.Fig is a big fan of dogs, rubbing up on them and even cuddling during the night. She is, however, not agreeable with male cats. While not outright violent, she guards litter boxes and hisses in their proximity. She did have to have her hip repaired when she was a kitten due to an encounter with a dog. However, she still moves without issues and shows no indication of pain or ongoing discomfort. Happy to provide more details!
