Story
Two gray kittens, one male, one female, from the same litter. Roughly 4-5 months old. Twinky is the girl, and Dinky is the boy. Just temporary names until we find them a home. The male kittens is very affectionate and likes to sit on people and purr. The female is sweet and a little shy. These cats are totally free to any good home that will take them. You can have one or both if you don’t want to separate them. Anyone who is interested is more than welcome to see them so I can explain the physical differences between them since it’s a little hard to tell at first glance. Please please help me find a loving home for these guys.

Story
The mother is a feral cat (friendly) that lives in my neighborhood. In Sept I discovered she had 4 kittens. I estimate they were born in mid-August. I captured and have fostered them since early November. They all took to the litter immediately. The 2 up for adoption are very friendly (once they get to know you) and playful, and both are starting to cuddle with me on the couch. My landlord won't let me keep 2 kittens (I also have a blind adult cat), and I can't afford to keep all of them long term. I'd like to have both adopted together since they've been together since birth and are very close to each other. I can share more about their individual personalities when I meet a potential owner.

Salem was rescued as a kitten after the mom was killed. He was behaviorally fine until our second cat passed away. We are expecting a baby and cannot get another cat to keep Salem company.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :)When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :)Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us!We are constantly being asked to help find a home for a helpless cat.  Typically it is someone is moving or the owner has died and there are only days to keep it from being tossed on the street or ending up in a kill shelter.PLEASE tell us what you are looking for in your next cat and we will process you application and call you when we have 'a fit'Thank you for caring enough to adopt instead of shop!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.   A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!July 10, 2024, 7:52 pm

I was scared and I had no where to go. I had my babies alone under a deck :(  Finally someone saw me and my babies and called 2nd Chance, but unfortunately by then I had lost one of my babies :(  Now my 3 other little ones and me are safe in the arms of 2nd Chance. I'm spayed, housetrained, had my shots and am super sweet. I love kids but I am not fond of dogs. I can tolerate cats but would prefer to be an only pet. I am ready for someone to love me FUREVERVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. Story
I found this beautiful girl on my property. She's the most friendly, loving cat with people. I have other cats and a dog and she does not get along with them unfortunately. We wanted to keep her, I already love her but its just too stressful for the other pets. I got her spayed and her shots. She is approximately one and a half to two years old. She would be a amazing pet for someone without other pets. I'm really sad to lose her...she must go to a good, loving home. And I'm giving her away for free.
