Stella is dog-friendly. She has participated in shelter playgroups and can play gently or rough/rowdy to match another dog’s play style and has been dubbed a playgroup “Rock Star”!! If excited in play tends to jump so no small children or frail adults, please. She walks nicely on leash most of the time (leash training in progress), is treat motivated, has a gentle mouth and is attentive. Because Stella is black and shy, she fades into her shelter kennel and has been overlooked. **She has been EUTHANASIA LISTED due to high FAS (fear, anxiety, stress) demonstrated by barking when strangers or people she does not trust approach her kennel.** A simple gentle approach and a couple of treats earn her trust and soon you have a loyal companion and friend. My heart breaks listing my Jackie boy for adoption. All I want is a home he can go to where he will be loved and cherished the way I wish I could If there was a way for someone to help me foster, I would appreciate that so much. If not, I’m looking for his forever home. Jack is a mixed dog weighing at 100lbs, he’s the definition of a gentle giant. He is silly and playful and super touchy. He always wants to be pet, cuddled, massaged, and held. I am willing to pay for his food, toys, and set up if it’ll help him find the best owner possible because that’s what he deserves. He is good with smaller dogs but might get defensive with dogs his size. (He currently comes in 2nd to our pug who runs the house lol) He is not food aggressive; is gentle when eating out of your hand; is bilingual and responds to many commands (sit, lay down, down, wait, give me your foot) He is a leash puller but have been working hard to cut that down. He’s never bit or come close to biting a person

Piper is a young dog looking for an active home. She is very smart and walks perfectly on a leash. Piper knows many commands and is easy to train. She's fully house trained. Although Piper is being fostered with other dogs and cats, Piper needs to be an only dog. She's fine walking past other dogs on the street, but needs a home of her own. She is very playful, smart and loving. In the right home, Piper will be an easy dog. She'll do best with someone who has had a big dog in the past, but no current dogs. Piper does best with structure, and loves to learn. She is a healthy, happy young girl. We had her spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and heartworm negative. * Has some hyperpigmentation on her skin, possibly due to irritation caused by allergies, but she has no health issues! 2.) Rescue Story * Mina was brought to the Gimje City Shelter and was very scared of people for unknown reasons. Due to this, she was at risk of being put on the euthanasia list, which led us to urgently rescue her. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Used to get scared and uncomfortable with people, but has become much better after training. Hangs around strangers if they have treats and tries to catch their attention! Has become accepting of touch and allows those close to her to pet her. Often comes nearby quietly and gives kisses with her nose. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. Has a lot of curiosity towards new dogs and greets them with sniffs. Doesn’t fight and gets along well with familiar dogs, while she doesn’t pay particular attention to other dogs. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed since she’s living in a communal environment at our center. Sleeps in a kennel and relaxes even when alone at our center. May need training from scratch if she lives in a family home. * Potty Training: Goes outdoor potty while residing at our center. Prefers potty outside but makes occasional mistakes in her kennel while trying to hold in it. * Hygiene: Stays still while enjoying human touch. Accepts baths and brushing nicely. Is patient enough to have her nail trimmed once her paws are firmly held. * Walks: Isn’t used to walks and finds them awkward. Recently through training, she walks well in areas she’s comfortable with but pulls on the leash in areas where she’s uncomfortable. Follows along well if she walks with another helper dog. Doesn’t chase other animals on walks. * Barks when she’s wary of strangers and she wants something, especially when she gets impatient and wants it faster! * Prefers treats over toys. * Is scared of uncomfortable places, people and collars.
