I really love this little dog ! How I wish I could keep him as my personal dog, but that’s not what I do to help the strays of San Bernardino. He’s a nice compact little guy at about 28 or 29 pounds. He’s a very patient dog and would make a great companion no barking no whining no bad habits. He’s affectionate very engaging and very intelligent for additional information. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog at a mutually agreeable appointment day, time & place. Usually Petsmart Yorba Linda or our Santa Ana location near South Coast Plaza. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.

Valentina was surrendered to PuppyPromise Rescue July 2024 after her owner went through major life changes. Following a divorce and a diagnosis of liver failure, her owner lost her job and could no longer care for her four dogs. Sadly, Valentina’s vaccine records were lost during this time, so she has been fully re-vaccinated.She came to the rescue with her medium-sized brother. Valentina is playful and fun, she loves water, squeaky toys, and going for long walks. She knows basic commands and does great with smaller dogs. We’re not sure how she does with cats yet.As a power breed, Valentina needs a home with a family who understands her breed and is ready to give her the love and commitment she deserves.
