Story
Kaido was recently left tied to the front door of our community resource center, abandoned. He is looking for a true forever family that will never again discard him and abandon him. He is currently living in boarding because we did not have available space for him when he was left tied to the door without a plan. He appears to be housebroken, seems to love other dogs and is shy but so sweet with people. He also appears to be housebroken. He does cry a little when we leave him in the kennel and may need some help and support on crate training. He is in such urgent need of a second chance, please consider giving Kaido that chance to show you what an amazing boy he can be. He is a year old (according to the note his owners left) and is vaccinated, neutered and healthy. Adoption fee: $150 ##1806062##

Story
Jack is a sweet boy. We have had him for 10 years and he has always been good with our other dogs and cats and even baby ducks. He is aging and no longer has the patience for our puppy we recently got. He has never been aggressive with people but he would do best in a home with no other dogs. He likes to snuggle, and loves his treats. He has never had any issues with destroying furniture and is totally house trained. He doesn't eat much in his elderly years but loves his treats while watching TV at night. We are heart broken to re home him but he is not getting along with our puppy and that has not been like the Jack we once knew. We have had him checked recently at the vet and he does have a benign tumor on his heart with no symptoms. He is a loving boy who loves people. He is just needs someone to give him love and care while he lives out his remaining years. He doesn't require much exercise but loves to play with his toys and spend time outdoors for short periods of time.

Story
Kali is a mixed breed (truly a mutt but definitely has some Staffy in her) and she is 3.5 years old. She ABSOLUTELY LOVES cuddles, kisses and tennis balls. She is high energy and loves running and swimming. She is a water dog through and through, and loves to go to the beach, the pool, and boating. She gets along with other dogs when given the opportunity to bond with them. Unfortunately, she doesn’t make a good first impression with other dogs. But once given time to mingle, she forms bonds with fur friends. We currently live with another dog and they are besties. Kali loves cats and she probably tries to give them too many kisses for their liking- but has never been anything but loving to our two cats. She loves adult humans (though can initially be timid around men for a minute-she always warms up quickly), and has very little interaction with kids. I would not feel comfortable with her in a home with children.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Resident since April 2018Hello, my name is Amora.  I have been told how beautiful I am and I cannot deny that it's the truth ;)  I have been at PRBJ for over 4 years.  I know that is a really long time, more than half of my life.  I am a great girl just ask anyone at the rescue center.  I need time to get to know a person and trust them, but once I do I will love you forever.  I never forget those that love me.  I am a little older now and really would just like a home that I can relax with you.  I am good on the leash but really don't like going too far but maybe if I had a great person to walk me and keep me safe I would enjoy walking.  I DO NOT like other animals (cats, dogs, birds, squirrels, etc) so my ideal home would need to pet free although I think I wouldn't mind a fish. I DO NOT like new people so I would need a home that only has 1-2 ADULTS ONLY with very limited traffic in order to keep me and them safe. Please don't let any of this discourage you from wanting to adopt me.  I know the right person is out there and the staff at the center is willing to work with us to ensure I get to the right home.  Again it will take time for you to come in and meet me a few times but I can guarantee I am worth it.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 20, 2023, 7:02 pm
