Warrior was found back in December on the side of a highway, very skinny, and dragging himself to the bushes. Unfortunately this guy had suffered a lot, and it is unknown what have caused the fracture on his back. He was tested positive for heartworm and thankfully we have done the complete treatment already. He is now finally neutered, cured, vaccinated, microchipped and all set to find a wonderful family to make him forget all the nightmare he had to endure in life. Warrior needs someone to teach him love! Someone that walk him at least 2 to 3 times a day on his wheelchair, and he can smell the flowers…He need to find love! Warrior would do better in a home where he is the only child, and only with adults. Since he cannot walk, makes him to be frustrated when there is too much noise, or other animals running around. This handsome guy is incredibly smart and received extensive professional training through Magic City K9, an organization that accepted Cooper into their unique program focused on giving both dogs and people a second chance to thrive. As part of this program, Cooper lived with his trainer at Everglades Correctional Facility in Miami, where inmates and dogs work together to build skills, confidence, and brighter futures.Thanks to this experience, Cooper has learned over 40 commands and truly enjoys using his brain. He made friends with many of the dogs in his training class, though he does best with proper introductions when meeting new canine pals. While Cooper is a total softie once he knows you, he can be a bit nervous around strangers, so he needs time to build trust.
