Story
- Goofy, sweet pup who loves toys and treats - Knows sit, stay, shake AND come - good girl! - Would benefit from a more mature home where she can work on confidence-building - Can be socially awkward around other dogs and may take time to warm up to new dog friends; likely not a candidate for dog parks or events (dog intro recommended) - Needs to be the only dog in her new home The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 53 Age: 2yrs 0mths 4wks

Story
- A happy, spunky, friendly girl!- May prefer to explore and do her own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once she's in a loving home environment and has had time to decompress - Knows sit and stay; may be fun to train with treats! - Young kids may overwhelm this gal; looking for a teens-and-up home right now - Tends to be an introvert and a bit socially awkward around other dogs; may prefer one-on-one interactions or smaller groups of dog friends and would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new pals (dog intro recommended) - Must meet any resident dogs before adoption The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Story
Goliath is a stunning sleek boy! He turns heads and melts your heart with his big pittie smile! He LOVES people! Maybe a little too much. Some days this big 50 pound love bug still thinks hes a 10 pound puppy and wants to sit in our lap! Goliath would do best in a home that has older children as he still doesn't realize how big he is as he is still full of his puppy energy. He would never hurt anyone! He just doesn't realize how big he is and can easily knock down littles. He knows basic command and is house trained and crate trained. He gets along with other dogs but tends to play on the more energetic side, so other large dogs are best for him. He has a big big heart and will be someone's best buddy on the road, hiking/fishing/camping/running buddy. A good pittie is a TIRED pittie :) And Goliath is a GOOD PITTIE :) Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
