Story
Finn is a sweet pibble who came to the shelter with his friend Chirpa because their owner had too many animals. Finn is about a year old and has sadly lived outside his whole life. In spite of that, he's a friendly, outgoing guy who loves people and other dogs. His owner says he's good with kids and is a good boy. He will need a family who's willing to put in just a little work helping him learn what it is to be a member of a family.

Story
BB-8 is a sweet little low rider who came to us from another shelter. He was in rough shape when he arrived there but he's ready to find his new home. They didn't know much about him other than the fact that he's adorable! He tried really hard when he was introduced to another dog but he was too stressed by all the changes and just wasn't ready to play. We suspect that once he's settled in we'll see the loose wiggly guy he was at the other shelter. Mostly he'd like someone to come take him home!

Story
My name is Noel and I am a very sweet and loving girl. I get along with other dogs, but would do best in a home with submissive dogs. I am fearful of kitties when they hiss at me...shhhh don't tell anyone. I love to walk and would love an active family. I love kids but might do best with older kids.If you want to meet me apply today by going to www.newhopepetePlease check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:1. Story
Meet Rex! Rex has had a bad start to life, but is so thankful to be in a foster home. He is the sweetest boy. Here's what we know about Rex in the 3 short weeks he has been in foster care.Rex is approximately 10 months old. He is a pit and chocolate lab mix. He was chained up outside since 10 weeks old. Was brutally attacked by 2 dogs and left for dead. He is understandably skiddish of people and dogs, but making huge strides with people. Other dogs will need slow introductions. He loves the resident dogs and mimics her every move.He loves his people and wants to be everywhere they are. He loves to cuddle, loves to eat, sleep and snore! He is potty trained, crate trained (although its not needed). He is very chill for a puppy but does love to play with resident dog . Is up to date on shots and has a neuter appointment this Saturday.Rex really needs someone with patience and understanding of the fear he has of humans and other dogs as well as the need to be with his people as he is still learning how to be a dog and to feel safe. Would recommend older children as he still fears quick movements and loud noises. Not cat tested. Could you be Rex's hero? Apply to adopt this sweet boy today! Story
This is Vader! Look at his ears though! He is a sweet 9/10 month old boy we rescued in January. When you walk in the door after work he will greet you with so much joy you would think it is the first time he is meeting you! He is full of energy and loves to wrestle with our other rescue pup, but he can outlast him in duration and intensity. For that reason he would do better as an only dog. This also applies to little humans, his excitement can make him overwhelming for kids under 13. He wants to please and is very obedient. When we got him he was very nervous and anxious, he has relaxed some, but may always be more of an anxious dog. He needs patience and love. He is very responsive to the beep on an e-collar, I have only had to vibrate a handful of times, never had to shock. Fully crate trained, does well with potty outside, you just have to stay on him, few accidents inside. I am devastated having to rehome him; we have an 8 year old that is overwhelmed by him.
