Story
Luna is a WONDERFUL six-year-old staffy (maybe mix). She’s spunky and energetic, and a SUPREME cuddler. She loves to hunt squirrels and fluffy things, take long walks, enjoys training sessions, hanging out in the yard, and being with her people. Luna has anxiety. She bonds deeply with her people and can get nervous when separated if not in a restricted area. This means she’ll eat your shoes. We love Luna and we do not want to let her go. However, we can’t provide the safety and attention she deserves in our two dog home.

Story
Bruce is a stray we found about a month ago. We were unable to find his owner and are looking to find him a new permanent home or foster home ASAP. Bruce is extremely loving and friendly. We have a small child in our home, as well as 2 cats and 2 female labs, and he gets along with them all just fine. He did not however, get along with my mom's dog, who is a scottish terrier (also a male and non neutered) and lot more feisty than our dogs. Bruce LOVES attention and I think would be best suited in a home with no other dogs where he can get all the love. He is potty trained and knows some commands, such as "sit". We believe he is an older dog. He has a vet appointment coming up so we're hoping to get him up to date on his vaccines and get more answers about him. He is not neutered, but we are looking into low-cost options to get that done. We are trying desperately to keep him out of a shelter, but if we don't find something soon, we might have to resort to that.

Story
Anubis is a handsome American bully who came to the shelter when a couple of MSU students found him running loose. He loves people and will happily stuff his almost 70 pounds in your lap! He makes the cutest snorts, snuffles, and wheezes and a few that you just have to hear for yourself (there were some unkind comparisons to pig noises but he isn't taking it personally!). He loves other dogs and would love a playful friend in his new home. (He tires out quickly so maybe not too playful!) Anubis is currently in a foster home where he is living with cats, dogs, and bunnies!

Story
Anansi is a big, goofy, roughly 4 year old bully mix who came to the shelter as a scared stray. He was pretty afraid of the world when he was picked up, but as soon as he realized he was safe, all his worries seemed to melt away quickly. A typical bully, he definitely is more brawns than brain (so tolerant friends are probably going to be best for him), but we see the heart of gold he has in there. His rear legs are a little wobbly, but they don't seem to bother him otherwise. (Long hikes are probably not in his future.) The key to win him over is booty scratches - you'll be his best friend ever in no time at all!
