You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please understand that we get many applications for our available dogs. We review each application and do our absolute best in choosing a home that best suits each dog and his/her needs and personality. LEVEL 4 HEART MURMURHave you been looking for love in all the wrong places? Are you asking yourself how do you mend a broken heart? Well stop in the name of love and meet Tank! Tank has nothing but LOVE to give. He LOVES people (big and especially small) even though his last people were not nice and painted him red and left him behind when they moved. Tank may cure your broken heart, but his is a little broken, having a grade 4 heart murmur. Tank does not require meds for his heart, he is up to date on vaccines and neutered. His coat is sparse we think it's due to the paint, it is coming in thicker every day, but may not come back fully. Tank DOES need to be an only dog. Tank can be your boogie man and dance the night away or possibly your candy man - either way his love will truly put music in your ears. Please let us know if you'd like to meet this hunka burnin' love!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 22, 2023, 3:09 pm

Story
Karen is an outgoing and energetic -8yr old dog who loves belly rubs and lots of attention. She is currently in her original home due to lack of foster space therefore we will also accept foster home inquiries. Karen will need a home free of other animals. She is comfortable being crated and is a friendly dog with all people. Karen enjoys leash walks but otherwise doesn't require a lot of entertainment. She will play with toys and chews but most of all simply loves the company of humans. Located in Battle Creek, MI. PM www.facebook.com/allspecieskinship for fastest replies. Call 877-596-7776 ONLY if you do not have Facebook please. Home visits are required for all foster homes or adopters.

Story
Felicity (aka Peppers) is just the most wonderful dog. She came to us from another county that was overwhelmed with rescues. Peppers was just so afraid but now has come right out of that shell. She loves her people and is also a great little watch dog. Housebroken. Playful and energetic. She does amazing with the other dogs and enjoys playing with them. Also great with cats. She is still a little bit of a chewer although not destructive so will need plenty of toys. Visible fenced yard required. She will need an owner that is home a lot and can help to build her self confidence in the beginning. She has adjusted well to home life and you will often find her sleeping with one of her people. We suspect she will be a year old at the end of May. For the best response, please call or text 269 753 5400 We have had a DNA test done. Felicity appears to be part Border Collie or Boston Terrier but DNA test does not agree!

Story
Letty isn't quite 2yrs old. I adopted her nearly a year ago. She plays gently with one of our cats, but chases the two that don't like her. She is well-behaved, knows several commands, is used to going in a crate for a few hours at a time, and uses an underground fence where we live. She is the sweetest girl. And she is in need of ACL surgery. X-rays were taken by our Vet at Auburn Hills Animal Hospital and they referred us to Northern Indiana Veterinary Emergency Services in Fort Wayne. Letty's quality of life has diminished quite a bit over the last few weeks. She shouldn't run. She can't play because she gets hurt too easily. She fails to navigate stairs well and occasionally has a hard time squatting to do her business. We've been quoted $5,500-$6,700 for this surgery at multiple local hospitals. Not only is this something I cannot afford but the recuperating process will be very time-consuming and will require quite a bit of maintenance and attention that I am unable to provide.
