Story
Pluto Foster/Home Needed – Long Island, NY Meet Pluto! This handsome 2yr old boy was saved from ACC a few days before Christmas and is in need of a place to call home. Pluto loves to run and play with other dogs and enjoys a good game of fetch. He loves to snuggle, give kisses and just be with his person. He has the cutest, most peaceful little snore. He needs a little structure in his life and he's eager to learn. He is neutered, up to date on all shots; just a healthy, happy boy who needs a home of his own, ideally with a dog friend to help him feel secure and who he can wrestle and play with. He is interested in cats; children 13+. He needs proper exercise and will surely make a great friend. If you feel you might be just the home this sweet boy needs, please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or go to our FB page or call the number listed below. Story
Look at this S M I L E - this is Princess 👑 It’s heartbreaking 💔 to know that she’s losing her home and her dad. It’s not your typical story though… Her dad loves her so much but fighting a battle involving his health. We all agree what’s best at this point is to move Princess 👑 into a foster or adoptive home by this weekend. Princess is a young female pitbull mix who’s great with all commands and housebroken. She loves to lay around but she also loves to run and play catch and do all kinds of activities. She’s spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. If you can FOSTER, please submit a foster application on our website and we will supply you with everything you need. Crate, food, supplies etc. We will also get her training should it be needed. Two week decompression protocol is a must, please be sure to read it thoroughly when you submit the application (the link is on our website). Ideally, Princess will be fostered (or adopted) by someone who has some large breed dog experience, is in agreement with the necessity of crating (or willing to be taught why it’s an absolute necessity) and DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE OTHER PETS LIVING IN THE HOME. Princess *may* be fine with other dogs but has lived as the *only pet* for a long time. Therefor we would like to find someone who can foster this sweet girl without other pets. Princess has not been around kids so we would prefer a home without young kids until we have a better understanding of her needs. She likes to “talk” to the squirrels 🐿 so we are erring on the side of caution: No Cats 🐈 If you work 8 or 10 hours a day NO PROBLEM, you don’t need to be a work from home person to provide a happy and safe place for Miss Princess. All she needs is someone who’s open to following our protocols (because they make for the best results) and can give her love and structure. We’ll provide you with the rest. Vacationing soon? NO PROBLEM, we’ll take care of Princess while you’re away so please don’t let planned trips stand in the way of fostering. BARC-CT.org/foster BARC-CT.org/adoption Please help us help this sweet pup. She deserves a soft landing since she also losing her person 💔

Story
This is Waffles!  Waffles was found by a good samaritan who wasn't able to find her a home. Waffles was kept safe in boarding all summer but it wasn't the right environment for her. An employee took her home and immediately noticed the positive difference in Waffle. She is a very smart, loving young dog, about a year old. She is very athletic and has a lean muscular body. She loves people and dogs. She is prospering in her foster home where she has dogs to match her energy and a foster family that are teaching her how to be part of a family. She isn't super keen on her kennel but is learning that it is a safe place to hang out. She likes chewing on bones and playing with toys. She has been nicknamed "Door stop" because she is always beside you when you leave a room (a behavior that she is working on). She loves to hold down the couch and if given the opportunity will gladly keep you company in bed. She redirects easily and wants to be a good girl. She is not food or toy aggressive. She has the makings to be a great family dog or outdoor partner for an active person. She just needs the right person to continue her training and development. Waffles has been spayed, is current on her vaccinations and microchipped.  Her adoption fee is $550    and includes her transportation to her new home in CT.  SHE IS IN A LOVING FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO HER NEW HOME ONCE ADOPTED!  New Beginnings Animal Rescue uses  a licensed and registered USDA transport company.      If you would like to apply to adopt Waffles, please fill out our online application here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.  Any questions, please email us at:  newbeginnigs_animalrescue@yahoo.com.   THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!
