💓EXCITING NEWS💓 KING is in a foster home now and available for adoption! Stay tuned for more updates but if interested in giving King his forever home, don't wait - reach out today! https://www.facebook.com/reel/1306119583947246 🚨🚨🚨King has been added to the euthanasia list - time is running out. Please if you can help reach out today🚨🚨🚨 URGENT: King Needs a Miracle Meet King, a gentleman with a heart full of love and a soul longing for a second chance. At around 8 years old, King has known heartbreak - he and his housemate were found living out of a car, abandoned. Though they didn't have much, they had each other, which made the nights less lonely. His friend has been rescued by us (we didn't know about King until after we saved her) and now we hope to do the same for King. King has lost everything, the family that once cared for him (even if not enough - his ears tell a story of neglect and will need treatment), his friend, his car, all things safe to him, all gone. He sits in a kennel now, waiting for someone who may never come. Despite everything, King is sweet, and social, and passed all of his behavior evaluations with flying colors. He's gentle, and kind, still holds onto hope, and still believes in the goodness of people. But in a crowded shelter, where time is not a friend, King needs more than good behavior and hope - he needs a miracle. 💔He is at risk of euthanasia. 💔He has lost everything. 💔He is running out of time. King needs an adopter, a foster, a hero willing to step up before it's too late. Are you that person? If yes, reach out immediately! King will come fully vetted and we can assist Don't let King's story end here.

Story
Mitzi was owner- surrender as her owner decided he didn't want her anymore. This is where CPR comes into her life! Mitzi is the perfect-sized little girl that we believe is around 18 months old. She weighs around 48 pounds and is full-grown. She is housetrained and crate-trained. Mitzi was not treated good at her last home and she is warming up nicely knowing she will never be mistreated again. The only thing she is having to learn from that living situation is trusting people. Once she knows she is safe, she warms up nicely. She has even learned that it is ok to jump up on the couch and snuggle with her foster mommy and other doggies. She loves running and playing with the other foster dogs. She has mastered walking on a leash and has done so well with it! All she needs to learn is that she will never be mistreated ever again. Some patience and TLC is all this girl needs!! Mitzi has a video of her playing with a puppy and she loves her!! Visit the link to watch the video! https://youtube.com/shorts/vSmh_zmHv70 Mitzi is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested positive for heartworms, but has received her treatment and is ready to travel to her forever home. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.
