Hi, meet Hank! Hank showed up on our porch back in July, hot, hungry and thirsty. My wife and I have been taking care of him and trying to find him a home ever since. He's a mixed breed with pit bull, coonhound, and about a dozen other breeds in his DNA. He weighs about 70 pounds and we think he's between 12 - 18 months old. He's had all his vaccines and is neutered. He is house trained and crate trained. He's generally pretty well behaved and is eager to learn, but acts like a big puppy and likes to play rough and has some maturing to do. He likes to be near his people and has a few anxieties. He likes to walk, play, ride in the car, and cuddle. We've never seen him be aggressive but he does mouth and play bite a lot, though that is definitely getting better. He's really not much of a barker at all. We don't really know how he is around other animals or kids. We think he'd be a great companion for an active person or couple who has the patience to help him learn.

We adopted Mochi from a local shelter as a medical adoption initially. She was being treated for a prolapsed rectum and record of having intestinal worms. Once she was cleared we were able to fully adopt her. She came to us with minimal behavior issues mainly being high energy and would chew on kids toys, and she would at the time use the bathroom without giving us much notice. Since then, we have house broken her and crate trained her. She has a solid routine where she eats and is let out to use the potty that works. Unfortunately, I am not sure I can handle her high energy and attention needs (deserves) I have her caged way too often. My toddler and her love eachother- she bulldozes over and through everything she has traveled to the beach, loves outdoor activities, a solid good bone with peanut butter inside, she gets along with my Boston Terrier and boards at a boarding facility. We had her tail amputated due to a gnarly happy tail issue. She is very loving and sweet. High energy
