Story
Look at this handsome fella! This is Homer! He was the product of being dumped, but that doesn't define him! This boy LOVES big! He LOVES people, most especially his foster family! He is very playful and smart! He LOVES toys, most especially his KONG (with peanut butter) and his squeaky toy! He loves to watch TV, hang out on the couch, or by the pool. He is not at all aggressive and he leans into you for love. He is fine with other dogs, curious of the resident cat, but doesn't bother him. Homer is 1-2 years old. He is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. He is now neutered and microchipped. He was a fan favorite at the vets office! He is hesitant about getting in the car and it takes some coaxing, but this is the fear of being dumped, again. This will take time, but he will build confidence, there. Homer is crate trained and house trained, but he will mark, if he smells another male dog in the house. He would be fine as an only dog too. His ideal home is a retired family or an active family. He's a couch potato and lounger... but he can run and play with the best of them too! Homer is one of the sweetest pitties we have ever come across! He deserves happiness too! Forever. To be considered for adoption, please go to our website and complete the adoption application. https://acfrescue.weebly.com/adoption-foster-and-volunteer-applications.html The adoption fee is $350. This covers his vet exam, all vaccines, heartworm test, prevention, neuter and chip.

Legend is such a great dog that loves attention and to be rubbed. He also enjoys activities where he can exert his full energy such as running and jumping. He is crate trained and only barks when he needs to use the restroom or has another need such as his blanket. He is smart but also fearful of ballons. His birth date is Jan 17 2021. He was raised with 3 other dogs and has little training with a kitten. He enjoys car rides and exploring!

Story
Tank just turned 3, on May 2 and is the sweetest cuddle button! He loves to go on long walks, play tug and cuddle. He loves people but not good with cats or small dogs (okay with big dogs, like him)!! He would do very well with an active family. He’s such an intuitive and loving dog but unfortunately, my schedule doesn’t allow for the time and attention he deserves! You must promise to love him and take extremely good care of him. He’s worth it!

Story
I am trying to rehome my 7 month old puppy as I can no longer take care of her. There are many factors involved—this is not her fault and I just want the best for her. She deserves better than an animal shelter. She is extremely sweet. Good with kids. Never shown aggression. Crate trained. She needs additional potty training and behavior training, but that’s just due to her not getting the attention she has needed. She would come with all supplies needed (crate, toys, bowls, food, leash/collar, bedding and blankets, washable pee pads, treats, etc). I can provide any additional information. A small rehoming fee is requested as I do not want her in the wrong hands. She was literally rescued from the side of the road as a newborn, starving. She deserves the best life someone can offer. I am working long hours and it is breaking my heart for her to be in her crate day and night. I am having allergic reactions and cannot provide her much physical contact anymore.

Story
Our beautiful Gracie Ann... what can we tell you about her in this short bio? She was found some months back, dumped in a grocery store parking lot. Alone and scared. No idea why she was dumped, no idea what she had done wrong to be deserted. One of our rescue partners called us and we jumped into action! While, we normally cannot take dogs larger than 35#, we couldn't say "no". She needed us! Gracie joined the pack of one of our fabulous fosters and fell into the role of loving life, indoors and warm! When Gracie came to us, we thought she was pregnant. Her stomach was full like she was ready to give birth. We waited. No puppies. She ate a lot.... still no puppies. We took her to the vet and confirmed, not pregnant but was in heat. Her foster mom would be out of town for a few weeks, and we would have her spayed when she returned. Gracie started losing weight rapidly. We rushed her to the vet and found out that she had pyometra. This is life or death! One vet wanted to put her to sleep because the procedure is so costly! For a rescue, $5k is a lot to absorb! We got a second opinion and are so glad that we did! Our vet gave us hope! Gracie had the surgery that afternoon and it was touch and go for a while. She stayed in the hospital for days. Today, she is fully healthy! Her bloodwork is perfect! Gracie is 23 months old. She is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention. She is spayed and chipped. Gracie is housetrained and can be trusted outside of a crate. She is such a great dog! She will do best in a home with another dog as she LOVES to play, and we do not feel that placing her without a companion is in her best interest. If you have room in your home and your heart for this sweetheart of a girl, please complete the adoption application, below: https://acfrescue.weebly.com/adoption-foster-and-volunteer-applications.html
