She was a tiny bit jumpy but honestly it was cute and it didn’t bother me at all. She had a great temp test and met so many dogs through the fence. I’m confident she’s dog friendly, which I almost never say. She literally tried to lick inside the other dog’s mouth. She’s also hilarious because if I paid attention to another dog she would crawl over my knee and sit right in front of me like she was saying hey don’t forget about me. She’s just awesome.”

He greeted everyone we passed with a wiggly body and the happiest attitude, and he sat perfectly for treats, taking them so gently. He did great meeting another dog, though slow intros will be important since he may have been in a fight before. He’d likely do best with a submissive friend. I loved him so much and hope he makes it out to heal, love, and keep that tail wagging forever.”

It took me about 20 minutes to take her out and she semi walked half of the way and I carried her bulldozer self to the runs. Freya just wants human attention! She did amazing on her temp test with 2 other dogs! She was showing that she came in peace and even bellied up to show them she’s so submissive lmaoo I love this tank girl! She didn’t give me problems leashing her up or going back, besides that she wouldn’t walk, she would but it would be 4 steps and she would get scared. She would need someone that has patience with her, to show her the world isn’t so scary! She would blossom AMAZINGLY if the person gives her the time. She just wants attention from you and would be a great cuddle buddy! "

Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me “Gamora was staring up at me from her kennel with the most terrified eyes, so I knew I had to try to befriend her. After some gentle coaxing and treats, she army crawled out of her kennel. Once we got outside, she froze in the run, unsure of what to do. But with a few treats, soft baby talk, and toys, she slowly started to open up. She’s genuinely the sweetest thing. When she got excited but didn’t know how to show it, she’d get extra wiggly and then run away anxiously — it was adorable and heartbreaking at the same time. We temp tested her with another anxious girl and they just stood there, unsure of how to socialize, but she showed interest and gave little tail wags. She just needs to feel safe. Gamora deserves to army crawl out of those shelter doors for the last time and blossom in a loving home.” Gamora doesn’t need much — just a calm home, kindness, and someone willing to help her feel safe. She deserves a chance to grow up, not give up.
