Story
Hello world. My name is Troy. I am part of the ditch babies. Our names are Sawyer, Bowe, Kay Baby, Everett and me,Troy. I started the scaredest, but now I adore being held, sitting with you, and belly rubs On May 5th through most of the day on the 6th there had been bad rain storms. Very frightening. Everett was the brave one and went out of the ditch to the road on the morning of May 6th. A nice lady was passing by and saw him. She stopped and caught him. But while doing so, she spotted another one of us. After numerous times trying to catch the baby, she left. The baby in the ditch worried her so Angelina contacted a neighbor who is a dog rescuer. The dog rescue lady got in touch with my foster parents and their rescue, Carlton Rescue- Operation Puppy Love 501c3. So on their way home, they drove past where Everett was found. Upon getting out of the vehicle and calling Puppy, Puppy, Puppy, 3 of us jumped out of the underbrush. Next 3 were Bowe, Sawyer, and Baby Kay. But the last fellow, Troy, was terrified. Instead of being brave and being saved, he ran and hid in a culvert with water flowing through. Daddy Glenn climbed in (even though he has claustrophobia) and saved Troy. Today we are fat, sassy and ready for our own families. We are all very sweet, smart and love to be held along with belly rubs. We would be perfect for families, hiking, camping, going to the lake or any activity with you. I am ready to come home. Please request an application to begin my journey. Troy Male Not neutered Breed Staffordshire/ hound mix Color Fawn, Sable & white Age 12 weeks (as of 05/25/2024) Weight 18lbs Great with people, children, dogs/puppies, and cats/ kittens Adoption donation includes transport back east

Story
Nandi Zulu is a gorgeous, shiny, black/white sweet puppy. She was rescued from a southern dog pound. This girl was very shy at first and loud noises would make her want to hide. BUT, with love and patience, her sweet personality is coming out and there’s no more shyness!!Nandi plays very well with her foster puppy sibling and wants to get to know the bigger lab mix in her foster home. She does great with a 3yo in the household and will lie in her lap for loving. She has a calm demeanor. It was noted that she has webbed toes and she is very interested in the water coming from the hose...maybe some lab in there?Nandi sleeps in an open 24” crate with her puppy buddy in a gated room, where she knows not to potty and hangs out whenever she feels like it. Foster is working on her training for the main part of our house. This girl is still learning trust, but has made sooo much progress since knowing love in her foster home. We will work on leash training. I have left her by herself in her room and there has been no anxiety. The best home for her will be one that understands puppies and can continue to give her the TLC for her confidence and, of course, puppy training. We feel that she will be an active dog, so physical and mental stimulation is needed. She will enjoy a doggie sibling or may do just fine as an only dogCheck out these adorable videos of this gal:https://youtube.com/shorts/h8gsMljB7IE?si=Z_7R6Z_6Rj1hdPrJhttps://youtube.com/shorts/BRmoepeyFrI?si=4kvIrTX7SxbetEi1https://youtube.com/shorts/KuglUJdt1_o?si=_cNIk1fmDNNW7xjhhttps://youtube.com/shorts/HLrBsoDIJM8?si=VBRPVNBV4xNFxqsHhttps://youtu.be/1rSkDnFICBM?si=kXD5wIy0AcGZkAKjName: Nandi ZuluBreed: American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador RetrieverSex: FemaleAge: 14 weeksWeight: 20.0Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations:   Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter.Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained:  Getting thereMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:   Texarkana Tx Puppy Adoption Fee:  $550.00 (includes a spay/neuter surgery rebate of up to $200.00 to be paid to the adopter when proof of spay/neuter is provided to Paws New England). Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy's life.
