Story
This shiny black beauty is Moses. He and his sister were left outside in a small rural Mississippi town as puppies. One of our southern rescue partners took him into her home and now Moses is ready and looking for his forever family. Moses has a very sweet, very loving personality, and never meets a stranger he doesn't like. He adores all of his other foster siblings and enjoys playing with them. He accepts new dogs and loves them all immediately. He even likes playing with cats!!! Moses has been raised in the home with small children, and he is great with them. He’s gentle with the small ones and plays well with the bigger children. He is completely house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He sleeps in his crate all night every night, and never cries to get out. He goes into his crate when he tires from playing, and naps there without closing the door. He goes outside to potty, and uses puppy training pads if he isn’t let out in time. Moses does stay in a large crate when his family cannot be home with him. He’s still very much a puppy, and loves to wait for the garbage can to be left unattended so that he can dig for treasures!! Moses does well riding in a car and enjoys long trips. He loves to play fetch with tennis balls, and is entertained for hours with Benebone chews. Moses really is an exceptionally good puppy, and he will make someone the absolute greatest best friend!!Name: Marvelous MosesBreed: American Staffordshire Terrier/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 6 monthsWeight: 48.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are responsibility of adopter.Heartworm: Too young Housetrained: YesMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesLocation of dog currently: MississippiPuppy Adoption Fee: $550.00 Adoption fee also includes transport fee.ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You will be required to attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy's life, do you have the time??Please consider purchasing this book before adopting.
