Story
This shiny black beauty is Moses. He and his sister were left outside in a small rural Mississippi town as puppies. One of our southern rescue partners took him into her home and now Moses is ready and looking for his forever family. Moses has a very sweet, very loving personality, and never meets a stranger he doesn't like. He adores all of his other foster siblings and enjoys playing with them. He accepts new dogs and loves them all immediately. He even likes playing with cats!!! Moses has been raised in the home with small children, and he is great with them. He’s gentle with the small ones and plays well with the bigger children. He is completely house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. He sleeps in his crate all night every night, and never cries to get out. He goes into his crate when he tires from playing, and naps there without closing the door. He goes outside to potty, and uses puppy training pads if he isn’t let out in time. Moses does stay in a large crate when his family cannot be home with him. He’s still very much a puppy, and loves to wait for the garbage can to be left unattended so that he can dig for treasures!! Moses does well riding in a car and enjoys long trips. He loves to play fetch with tennis balls, and is entertained for hours with Benebone chews. Moses really is an exceptionally good puppy, and he will make someone the absolute greatest best friend!!Name: Marvelous MosesBreed: American Staffordshire Terrier/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 6 monthsWeight: 48.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are responsibility of adopter.Heartworm: Too young Housetrained:  YesMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesLocation of dog currently: MississippiPuppy Adoption Fee: $550.00 Adoption fee also includes transport fee.ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You will be required to attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy so if you experience behavior issues you have a point of contact.  PLEASE - Think long and hard before adopting a puppy - consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with - he cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older, puppy proofing your home will be necessary, puppies scratch and nip so if you have small children, can they handle this?? Training will be so important in this puppy's life, do you have the time??Please consider purchasing this book before adopting.  Perfect Puppy in 7 Days - How to Start Your Puppy Off Right, Sophia Yin, DVM - it is an amazing book that we recommend very highly and have had amazing feedback on.https://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Puppy-Days-Start-Right/dp/0964151871IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
I got Eli in Arizona when he was a puppy. He traveled to RI with me in 2018. He’s such a good dog, being a full time worker and student I just don’t have time for him. I want him to go to a home where people have time for him and can take care of him. He is great with children but a little weary with other dogs. He will need someone who is active and can take him on walks and trails at the park. Also a nice yard would be nice for him.

Story
Meet Jira! This poor boy has been owned and loved for his entire 12 years. Very sadly, his family is military and was deployed to an area where Jira was unable to go. They will also be gone for 3 years, so they did not feel it was fair to expect he could wait for their return. This boy loves all people, but needs to be the only canine king of the castle. We are hopeful someone out there can give this boy the love he deserves for his final chapter. Jira is about 75 pounds and is fully vetted. He is in foster here in New England. If you would like to meet/adopt this pup, please complete an application on our website: www.HotelforHomelessDogs.com Adoption Fee: $450.00

Story
Cooper is a 5 year old boxer/lab mix (Birthday October 20th). A very sweet guy who will do well with lots of attention and affection. He is a big dog so will need a big yard. Cooper will need an experienced owner to help him with his training, which includes walking on leash better and socializing better. He currently lives with a 15 lb pug who he gets along well with. He does better with little dogs, but would advise he is the only dog. However with proper socialization he could co exist.
