Story

Juno is my 10 mo. old American Staffordshire Terrier/Terrier mix. She is about 30 pounds and has a beautiful blue/grey coat. She is energetic, loving, and a bit mischievous. She loves to be around her family, eat tasty treats, and go on adventures. I rescued Juno & her brother from a shelter when they were 5 months old. I brought them to my home where I have a 10 year old staffy/lab male. She is not malicious or overly aggressive to other dogs, but she is excitable & often doesn’t heed other dog’s warnings when she is overly excited. As such, her brother & my older dog get annoyed with her at times relating to her not heeding their growls/body language. Since her brother also gets along with my older dog better, I’ve decided it’s in my sweet Juno’s best interest to rehome her to a loving home where she can ideally be the only pet to an active and loving owner or owners.

I was living with my parents and I work 12 hour shifts and saving up for a home . I asked them to keep my male and female staffies separated until I had enough money to move out and get them vaccinated. I asked them if they let them outside to please keep an eye. They didn’t listen and would leave them outside for hours alone without supervision. Oreo is such a good girl she follows and sits quietly next to you or in between your legs when you’re sitting on the sofa. She’s very quiet but when she gets excited she has the cutest tippy taps and when you’re holding her non stop tail wags and shares food and water with her sister without a problem.

If you are looking for an emotional support animal that will lick your tears away and thrive in your joy as y’all take long walks or run around a yard together look no further! It hurts my heart thinking of parting ways with the best girl I’ve ever known but she deserves a loving stress free home filled with love and long walks and preferably a yard for her zoomies. I first rescued Shelby from being a stray here in San Antonio as a new born puppy 3 years ago then moved her out with me to New Mexico where we went on many adventures and where she loved the snow! Shelby is the goofiest sweetest loving girl! Energetic and playful and SO loving. I wish I had the space and time for her and my first born daughter to learn to love each other the way I did but unfortunately due to a lack of space time and support I have to make the hard but best decision for her of finding her a better home. She deserves someone who is ready to play when they come home and lots of cuddles and adventures.
