Bentley was abandoned as a puppy at the vet's office and owners never went back for him. We took him in to raise. He grew large and is known as a gentle giant. He is very friendly, loves people and is very easy going. He is a mix of two different breeds. One is the Staffordshire Terrier, and one is the Border Collie. A variety of breeds were used to develop the "Amstaff" including the Bull Terrier, the Old English White Terrier, the Black and Tan, the Bulldog, the Mastiff, the Pointer, the Dalmatian and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The American Staffordshire Terrier is an intelligent, happy, outgoing, stable, and confident dog. They are good-natured, amusing, and extremely loyal and affectionate. Border Collies are very intelligent and sensitive which makes them easy to train. They have an uncanny ability to know what you are asking of them before you even ask it. Bentley is a good dog. No trouble at all, and no bad habits. Stays close to the house although he will lay in the pasture just observing the view. He is good with other dogs and kids, although I would prefer older children because of his size. If you are looking for a forever companion, look no further. We rescued Anubis at 7 months old (he is now currently about 1 year old) from a shelter and rehabbed him back to health (he was very underweight with alopecia). Unfortunately our 8 year old female dog has not taken to him after a few months and due to schedule changes, we aren't able to give him as much attention as we would like... so we would like to rehome him to a loving home. He is very playful and energetic and just looking for someone to love and to be loved. Whoever takes him is welcome to have his crate, feeding tray, dog bed, and any of his other belongings. We will miss him but know that he will thrive in an environment where he is able to get the attention he needs.

She loves walks, but it won't affect her behavior if she doesn't get one on a regular basis. She enjoys people and is also happy to just lounge around. We adopted her 3 years ago and she is 6-8 years old and healthy. Due to our busy schedule, finances, and a health issue it's time to find her a new loving home.
