Story
***DFW area only-No Exceptions*** Faith is a 10 weeks (as of 6/9/25) American Staffordshire Terrier mix puppy.  She was adopted from a shelter at just 5 weeks of age but was relinquished to a different shelter shortly after because the owners discovered she was ill. Her second shelter initiated medical care for her and her foster mom saw their plea and brought her in to the Legacy Humane fold! Faith loves to be played with, enjoys belly rubs, and is very social. She really loves to have another dog to play with. She has made a wonderful recovery from being too sick to play to running and playing with enthusiasm. She has begun to follow her foster around the home. Puppies at this age will require patience and training to become the best pup they can be. Faith is working on potty training and, given a potty schedule, she does very well for her young age. Faith does well with kids old enough to understand puppy behavior (~8ys and up). She does well with other dogs and cats. Faith responds well to corrections from dogs and cats and curtails her behavior accordingly. She would do best in a home with a yard.  Current weight 5.5 lbs Projected weight 45 lbs Crate trained   We are requesting a donation of $325 for the adoption which includes her spay, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer and a single dose of heartworm preventative.  If you're interested in meeting or adopting her, please complete an application on our website and someone will reach out to you within 48 hours.  https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Adopter will take puppy to an LHS approved vet to be neutered in July of 2025 per the spay/neuter agreement and in accordance to Chapter 828, Texas Health and Safety Code.  *Due to the high volume of applications and inquires for puppies as well as vetting needs, we will not be able to respond to or consider interest from those outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.  We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
Brittle is a ~5 month (as of 6/2/25) old Staffordshire terrier/ Chihuahua  mix puppy. He was found stray with his brother Peanut. Brittle loves to be played with, enjoys jumping in laps, and is very social. He gives sweet kisses and is gentle. He loves to snuggle in your lap or beside you for a nap. He’s lively and fun and has a good ability to read the people around him and adjust his behavior. He has a big boy bark when feeling protective and a baby bark for play time. He loves to chase butterflies in the yard and play in sprinklers. He’s even helpful! He shows his foster parents where they need to scoop when they are cleaning the yard. Just points at the spots to help like he’s a hunting dog! What a cutie! Puppies at this age will require patience and training to become the best pup they can be. Brittle is  potty trained and is crate trained over night and during the day. He would love to have a backyard to run in. He is in a foster home with larger dogs and cat friends. He takes correction well from both the animal and human friends in his home. Current weight: ~28 lbs Projected weight ~40 lbs    We are requesting a donation of $325 for the adoption which includes his neuter, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer and a single dose of heartworm preventative.  If you're interested in meeting or adopting him, please complete an application on our website and someone will reach out to you within 48 hours.  https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/   We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. Story
Aster is a happy, outgoing AmStaff who simply loves every human she meets, especially the little ones. She gets along with other dogs unless someone growls or gets aggressive with her then she is ready to rumble; she would do well as an only dog or with other dogs that like a peaceful environment.Aster is house and crate trained, although as an only dog she would be fine not using a crate. She is crated for meals and when no one is home in her foster home, along with most everyone else simply because there are several other animals. She would love to have her family to totally devote herself to and take care of. She is totally engaged and observant; ready to do what is asked of her.Aster is fully vetted, current with vaccines, spayed; micro chipped; and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
ADOPT RANGER! Ranger is the cutest little guy! He's a little nervous sometimes in new situations, and he would love to find a family with another doggie BFF for him. He loves to play and thinks toys are just wonderful. Ranger plays hard and then crashes hard wherever he might be at the time. He can seriously sleep anywhere! He enjoys sunbathing and gets pretty excited when he gets to try new treats and snacks. Ranger is a very sweet boy. He loves his furry foster brother. He hates the rain and thinks having wet paws is beneath him. He will make sure you know when he's unhappy about being cold and prefers to wear a sweater when it's chilly. He's a silly, fun-loving pup, and he'd love to bring some sunshine and joy to you! Please consider making Ranger a part of your family. Story
Raymond is almost 14 weeks old and weighs 24 lbs! He is a sweet and easygoing pup. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and truly one of the happiest boys. Every night around 9 PM, he puts himself to bed in his crate and patiently waits until morning for his foster mom to let him out for breakfast—no fuss, just routine. Raymond plays well with other dogs and is respectful of both the older pups in the home and the younger ones. He loves his Kong, still treasures his crinkle toys, and snuggles his Lamby—his favorite toy since he was just three weeks old. Lamby may have a little less stuffing these days, but he’s still very much loved. Raymond’s always nearby, often napping wherever the family is hanging out. He also enjoys playing in the water when he’s outside—splashing around is one of his favorite ways to cool off and have fun. According to his Wisdom Panel, Raymond is a mix of American Staffordshire Terrier (34%), American Pit Bull Terrier (14%), Great Pyrenees (9%), Siberian Husky (9%), Alaskan Malamute (8%), Brittany (6%), Labrador Retriever (6%), and Basset Hound (5%), with a sprinkle of Beagle and Border Collie. His estimated adult weight is between 46 and 79 pounds. If you’re interested in adopting Raymond, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2371309##
