Story
Scooby is a resilient boy who had a rough start in life, leaving him with a tough-looking exterior—but don’t let that fool you. His love and personality shine right through. At 4.5 years old, Scooby identifies as a grandpa most days. He’s low-to-moderate energy, enjoys a short walkie, then happily returns to his true calling: professional couch snuggler. 🛋️ He’s done well with the calmer, large dogs in his foster home, but he’s a no-thank-you to small animals. Where Scooby really shines? People. All people. AMAZING with everyone he meets—this boy is a total lover. Scooby is crate trained, potty trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and currently building a very respectable wardrobe. Fashion icon in the making. 👕✨ He’s currently on trials for his sensitive skin and gaining strength through swim and physical training, and is showing great success so far. He’s handled it all like a champ. Scooby has been through a lot, yet remains gentle, affectionate, and full of love to give. He truly deserves the world—and maybe a cozy couch to call his own. 🐾💙

Story
Harlow is a pocket-sized powerhouse of heart—35 pounds of velvet muscle, expressive eyes, and quiet devotion wrapped up in a perfectly compact pittie package 🐾 Think “short stack,” but make it soulful. At first meeting, she may greet the world like a cautious poet—observing, processing, taking in the rhythm of a new place before stepping into the spotlight 🌿 New situations can make her a little nervous, but give her a moment, a kind word, and perhaps a strategically deployed cookie 🍪, and suddenly Harlow unfolds like a sun-warmed flower 🌼 Praise is her love language. Snacks are her currency. Together, they are magic ✨ Once she decides you’re her person, it’s game over in the best possible way 💛 Harlow is a loyal shadow, happiest when she’s simply existing in your orbit—whether you’re folding laundry, binge-watching something questionable 📺, or just staring into the void together. She doesn’t need a grand adventure every day; she just needs you. On leash, she’s a polite little commuter 🚶‍♀️—no drama, no theatrics, just a steady, easy stroll companion. At home, she’s more of a “where you go, I go” type 🏡, preferring togetherness over solo missions. Because of that, she does have some separation anxiety she’s working through—but here’s the thing about Harlow: she tries 💪 With consistency, patience, and a routine she can trust, she’s already on the path from “a little unsure” to “quietly confident queen” 👑 Socially, Harlow is thoughtful and discerning 💫 She does well with other respectful dogs who mind their manners 🐕 and can coexist with cats 🐈 when introductions are done properly and boundaries are clear. She appreciates a calm, structured environment where everyone speaks the same “good manners” language. She comes fully equipped for her next chapter—spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to settle into a life where expectations are clear, love is abundant, and cookies are plentiful 🦴 Harlow isn’t just looking for a home—she’s looking for her person 💖 The one who sees the beauty in a shy beginning and knows that the best stories take a little time to unfold. And when she does? She’s going to be extraordinary 🐶✨ Apply to adopt with Happy Tails Happy Homes: https://www.happytailshappyhomes.org/adoptionform

Story
There are dogs who like people…and then there’s Cashy Boy. This sweet guy is powered entirely by human connection. Whether he’s making instant friends wherever he goes or locking eyes with his person like they’re the only one in the room, he has a way of making you feel special. He has the rare combo of being everyone’s best friend and someone’s once in a lifetime soul dog. Watch his video and you’ll find yourself wanting to take him home asap: https://youtu.be/ZL-EvXIFP68?si=xijCJaKcwsgekg2G Cashy Boy is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 3 years old and currently weighs 49 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. One thing we do know is that Cashy Boy absolutely loves loves loves people and especially loves his person. He has the type of personality from the moment you meet him, it’s clear how much he adores people. He leans in for affection, soaks up every bit of attention, and looks at you like you hung the moon. He’s affectionate, connected, and happiest when he’s right by your side. Whether that’s out on a walk, hanging around the house, or just relaxing together at the end of the day. His energy is that perfect middle ground. Not too high, not too low. He enjoys activity but isn’t over-the-top, and he settles beautifully once he’s had his time to stretch his legs. Because of his calm nature and quiet demeanor, he has great potential to thrive in an apartment or home setting. Cashy Boy is also a smart and eager-to-please guy. He’s treat motivated and already knows commands like sit and shake. He walks well on a leash and enjoys getting out for his daily strolls, taking in the world with you right by his side. Cashy boy is dog friendly and has done great with all of the dogs we have introduced him to. He is not the playful type with other dogs, he’s more of a sit back and watch the other dogs play kind of guy. Truthfully, he just wants to be near his person(s). Cashy Boy bonds deeply with his people and really values that connection. Because of that, he would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can fully relax and enjoy having his person all to himself. Think of him as the kind of dog who doesn’t want to share the spotlight. Not because he’s difficult, but because his love runs deep and focused. And honestly? He gives more than enough love to fill a whole house all on his own. At his core, Cashy Boy is a deeply devoted, affectionate, and special dog. The kind who will follow you from room to room, check in on you just because, and make even the most ordinary days feel a little more meaningful. If you’ve been waiting for that once-in-a-lifetime connection, the kind where your dog just gets you, Cashy Boy might be exactly who you’ve been looking for. Story
OH MY GOODNESS! Y'all there is nothing we love more than a squishy, blockheaded beefcake and Chuck Lee is exactly that! He lives up to his name and is a total chunky hunk legend. He has the type of face that makes you almost get that uncontrollable urge to squeeze their squishy face, as if their cuteness is too much for your heart to handle, like your love for them is just bursting out in an adorable, squishy explosion! That's what it's like when you meet Chuck Lee. You know it's ridiculous, but you just can't help but want to smoosh them because he's that adorable. We haven't even gotten to all of the best parts though! Watch his video and fall in love with this meathead: https://youtu.be/GWgPR2OI1iY?si=-_iqhFRbHVrs2Oke Chuck Lee is a believed to be a pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 72 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. But don't you love him already?! We do too! One thing you probably noticed and what we love the most about him is how gentle he is and how adaptable his energy is. You can get him super hyped and excited, get him to get the zoomies but the second that you let him know it's time to calm down, he does. Even when you do get him super excited and start to rough play with him, he is gentle and wasn't ever too much or ever gave the impression that he was going to jump or get to rough with his mouthy play. He does however like to sit in your lap if you're sitting on the floor LOL. His foster raves about him too and loves his big ole head! She says that he is just a big baby who wants to love and please you. One thing that made us all laugh is when she said that his bark is hilariously smaller than you would expect for a dog his size. He is also a toy lover! Chuck loves to play fetch, tug of war, and is easily entertained with a squeaky toy. He will carry a squeaker toy in his mouth and just squeak away. Some of his favorite toys are stuffed animals. He loves shaking them with all his might and tossing them up in the air. His inner puppy comes out when he’s playing with toys and it’s the best heart felt moment that instantly makes you smile. If you want him to savor his new plush toy that you just got him or that rubber chew toy, he is very easy going about people taking his toys away even when he is actively chewing on it. Chuck is dog friendly, is currently fostered in a multi-dog home and has shown us he does great with dogs his size and also dogs 10x smaller than him! He has been in play groups with dogs all with different personalities and play styles and did great with them all. He is great about matching energies with other dogs and will play with other dogs that want to play and is perfectly content doing his own thing around dogs that don't want to play. When he does play, he enjoys romping around in the yard with the other dogs and bouncing alongside them. Chuck is good about taking play breaks on his own, is happy to share affection with other dogs around, and is comfortable sharing treats with other dogs and toys! He's a just a generous boy that way. In a home, he will do best with a medium energy confident lady friend that enjoys playtime and also appreciates hanging out as well. He also isn't the type of dog that needs another dog in the home to help him feel comfortable or fulfill his energy needs. He loves everyone that he meets and will be just as happy playing a game of fetch with his humans in the backyard. Chuck also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Chuck is not only good looking and a 10/10, but he's super smart too!! He already knows a handful of basic commands such as sit, knows how to shake, and knows the down command. He is crate trained, potty trained, and has great house manners! He makes himself feel right at home and doesn’t get into anything he wasn't supposed to be. Even if he did, he is very responsive to his people and listens to corrections. Chuck is fairly easy to walk on a leash and only needs very subtle leash corrections to encourage him to keep walking if he was sniffing a spot for too long. We can see a lot of adventures and outdoor exploring with this guy! He loves to stop and smell the roses and really enjoys the outdoors. Chuck would thrive and do best in a home with a backyard. A place where he can romp around, get the occasional zoomies, play fetch with his humans, and sunbathe during those nice summer days. We are willing to test Chuck Lee with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
How is something this teeny tiny also this beautiful?? Ella Stella is the kind of dog that makes you stop and stare, in the best way. With her gorgeous brindle coat, soft little features, and that forever puppy-dog face, she looks like she was designed to be admired. But it’s her gentle, sweet nature that really pulls you in. There’s something so soft and calming about her presence, like she just naturally knows how to be easy, loving, and quietly special all at the same time. Watch her video and fall in love with her sweet personality: https://youtu.be/Nzmq12MEMB4?si=6cgeqXEuWj9J1AuP Ella is about a 1 year old and weighs around 28 lbs, making her the ultimate “just right” size. Small enough to scoop up and call your little sidekick, but sturdy enough to keep up with everyday life. She has a fun, playful personality and a sweet, gentle nature, but she’s not the type to rush into things. She likes a moment to take it all in, figure you out, and then decide you’re her person. And once she does? That’s when the magic happens. Treats are the fast track to her heart (she’s very food motivated), and with a little patience, you’ll quickly see her start to open up, following you around, checking in on what you’re doing, and settling in close. Her foster’s favorite thing about her? The cuddles. Ella is the kind of girl who will curl up next to you and stay there all night, completely content just being near her person. It’s that quiet, cozy kind of love that feels really special. Ella is dog friendly and does well with other dogs, but like with people, she appreciates a proper introduction. Bigger dogs can feel a little overwhelming at first (she is tiny, after all), but she settles in quickly when given space and time. Once comfortable, she loves to play and enjoys games like chase and does best with dogs who have a similar easygoing, medium-energy vibe. She’s super into a rough-and-tumble type, more of a playful companion who likes to keep things fun but gentle. She’s also met a cat and did great. Curious but respectful, and not bothered by typical cat behavior. She handled it all like a polite little lady. Ella is working on crate training and will go in with encouragement (and snacks, of course), and she’s doing well with potty training so far. She’s a smart girl who is picking things up quickly and just needs consistency to keep building on that success. Because she loves being outside, exploring, and showing off her toys, she would do best in a home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy her little routines. She’s also been around kids as young as 5 and did really well. Sweet, gentle, and happy to be included without being overwhelming. Ella isn’t the type to steal the spotlight the second she walks in but give her a little time, and she’ll quietly become your favorite part of the day. She’s playful, cuddly, and full of personality, with just the right mix of independence and affection. If you’re looking for a dog who will grow into your best little sidekick and curl up next to you at the end of the day, Ella is ready to be that girl. We are willing to test Ella Stella with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Bella Rose sounds like the name of a sweetheart in a movie and honestly… it fits her perfectly. This girl has one of those soft, angelic faces that immediately makes you trust her, the kind where you look at her and instantly think “awww sweet baby.” Then she starts wiggling her whole little body in excitement to come say hi and it’s pretty much game over for you. Between her happy wiggle butt, adorable freckles scattered throughout her body, and the gentle, easygoing way she moves through life, Bella Rose has this naturally comforting presence about her that just makes people smile. She’s sweet without being over the top, playful without being wild, and has the kind of personality that makes her feel easy to picture in everyday life. The type of dog that quickly becomes part of the routine, part of the family, and honestly… one of your favorite parts of the day. Watch her video and fall in love with her personality: https://youtu.be/5gVC73GkFbA?si=T3mjVOUNB5hfj3aa Bella Rose is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 57 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Bella is honestly the perfect middle ground when it comes to affection. She’s not the type that’s going to follow you into the bathroom, crawl into your skin, or dramatically throw herself on top of you demanding attention every second of the day LOL. But she’s also not distant either. She has this really easy, natural way of showing affection where she’ll come lean into you for pets, curl up beside you on the couch, quietly follow you from room to room, and check in throughout the day just enough to make you feel loved and connected to her. It’s actually such a refreshing kind of companionship. She gives affection in a very genuine, calm way that feels comforting instead of overwhelming. Like she just wants to be part of your life and near her people without needing to be the center of attention 24/7. One thing Bella absolutely does get excited about though? Her toys. Especially balls LOL. Give this girl a tennis ball and she is fully entertained. She loves tossing them around for herself, chasing after them, carrying them from room to room, and happily creating her own little games without needing constant interaction from you. It’s honestly really nice because she has no problem entertaining herself for long stretches of time while you work, clean the house, or just relax nearby. Every now and then she’ll look over at you like, “did you see that?” after making a great catch or dramatic pounce, which somehow makes it even cuter. She has this fun, playful side to her that comes out so naturally with toys, and it’s such a good balance with her otherwise easygoing personality. From what we’ve seen so far, Bella Rose was really sweet with the two kiddos she met that were ages 5 and 8 years old. She was respectful, playful, and happily hung out right in the middle of all the activity without seeming overwhelmed by the running around, playing, or general kid chaos happening around her. One thing we especially noticed was how naturally gentle she was. She wasn’t jumping all over them or being too much, she just seemed genuinely happy being included in the fun and soaking up the attention. Based off the interactions we observed, we do think Bella Rose has a lot of potential to make a really lovely companion for a family with kids in the right home. Bella is dog friendly and has done well with the dogs we have introduced to her so far. She has been with dogs her size and dogs smaller than her as well. When it comes to play time, she is good about matching the energy of the other dogs. She will play when play is invited and will enjoy those relaxing hangout moments too. When she does play, it’s consistent with running around (actually wiggling around), playing games of chase, and with the right dog she’ll engage in more physical type play. Bella has shared affection with other dogs with no issues and has shared treats around other dogs too. In a home, we do believe she would do best in a home with a male dog that is not too playful but not too lazy either. One that is happily right in the middle and one that has a more gentle play style that doesn’t take things too seriously. She would also do best in a home with no cats as well. Bella has shown to be a smart little lady as well and is treat motivated too. She already knows some basic commands such as sit, is crate trained and from what we have seen, she is potty trained too. Bella does pull on a leash and is currently practicing her leash manners and learning how to walk like a lady. She is being gentle lead trained and is already showing so much improvement with her leash skills and not pulling as much when she walks with her gentle lead on. She does great with structured leash walks and we do believe she would be a great companion to take with you on outings, walks around the neighborhood, or even mini hikes with the right handler. Her dream home can look like so many different things because of how adaptable she is. Work from home and want a companion? Bella will happily be there all day for emotional support. Have a family with kids and wanting a companion for your tweens or teens? Bella would love that too. We truly believe Bella would be happiest in a home with a backyard and a semi-active family that enjoys including their dog in everyday life. She’s not an over-the-top, nonstop energy type of girl, but she definitely enjoys having space to stretch her legs, play with her toys, lay out in the sun, and trot around checking out all the smells. She seems like the kind of dog that would thrive with a nice balance of activity and downtime. A family that enjoys walks around the neighborhood, hanging out in the yard, casual weekend outings, and then cozy evenings at home would fit her so well. Bella really just seems happiest when she gets to be part of the rhythm of your life, whether that’s playing fetch in the backyard, supervising while you garden, or relaxing nearby while everyone winds down for the night. We are willing to test Bella Rose with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
