Story
Sweet as chocolate, smooth like peanut butter, and filled with love, she is the sweetest treat you didn't know you were craving. Her name is Vienna Angel and she is our peanut butter cup of love. I personally am a sucker for dogs with resting sad face and Vienna absolutely has one of the cutest! Maybe she learned you get more treats this way. She knows how to work her puppy dog eyes to get what she wants. She will put you in a trance with her cuteness! This girl had me absolutely fawning over her with her warm peanut butter brown coat and soft, soulful eyes. She is the perfect blend of all the right things. Like your favorite candy, she's got a soft center, a little bit of bouncy, and whole lot of love to give. https://youtu.be/nY-IK1U5Q18?si=OYlQbP1ieZzOFskG We believe Vienna is 2 years old and she appears to be a labrador and staffordshire mix. She currently weighs 70 lbs and is fully grown! If we could measure the love in her body-- she would measure in as 100%! Vienna's love language? Walks, car rides, puddles, and ice cream!! She doesn't beg for food....unless you're holding that magical pint of frozen goodness. Open the freezer, and Vienna will come trotting over, just in case there's a scoop with her name on it. She hopes any treat has her name written all over it. Vienna loves a good tasty snack and will do anything for a taste! Even if it means learning a few commands or practicing some that she already knows. She already knows how to sit, is crate trained and potty trained, and after the first five minutes of excitement (she's gotta get her wiggles out first), she has fantastic leash manners. Sometimes squirrels are just too good to resist so she would be best for someone who can help her stay focused and enjoy the walk outside in the sunshine together! Her fur? Like velvet. Her belly? Like a puppy’s. You’ll find yourself reaching for belly rubs as often as she rolls over for them—and she lives for that affection. One of Vienn's favorite thing in the whole world is to be outside! She loves her foster parents swimming pool and just hanging out in the sunshine! She is definitely a water lover. We cant blame her, this Texas heat is no joke! You can catch her lounging pool side (or in the shallow end). Grab this girl her sunnies and her towel! Vienna is also a wonderful car rider too. She loves sticking her head out the window and feeling the breeze on her face. Get ready for lots of beach trips with this lovely lady. Vienna Angel is very dog friendly and has been a lot of different dogs all with different personalities and temperaments. She has a wonderfully balanced energy and will match the energy of the other dog. She can be playful and she can also be a relaxed lady. When she is around a do that likes to play, she has a bouncy play style and enjoys the occasional rumble and tumble moments. Vienna would actually love if she were adopted into a home with another dog her size or slightly bigger. She would also do best in a kitty free home. We could totally see her in a home with older kids (she is a bit big and easily knocks over little ones) so 10 + is ideal! If you're asking her what her ideal home would be, her one request would be a yard. She loves to really bounce around when she plays and because of her healthy size. Some pretty green grass to sniff would be fantastic too! Vienna is a quiet gal who rarely barks, loves to nap, and never in your business. She would make a great work from home buddy because she's not clingy by any means and has a well balanced energy. By day, she's a low-key nap enthusiast but when the sun goes down and that cooler weather starts to roll in, her goofy side takes the stage. Expect zoomies, wrestling with her foster siblings, and the dramatic rug rollouts LOL! She's comedy on four legs with the best facial expressions to match. Vienna can be slow to warm up to the occasional person while also falling hard and fast for others, but all around, she is a friendly and loving dog. Now that I think of it, aren't we all the same way. She has all the makings of a perfect hang-out girlie. I can see the backyard barbecues, football watching parties, and marathon sessions of your favorite reality tv show with her by your side. Vienna is ready for a love connection and hopefully it is with you! Email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Story
Maribella is ready to be your family dog. She could be the perfect running partner, dog park going, play date loving best friend you never knew you needed. She can also just be your quiet napping companion while you work. Or your cuddle buddy/little spoon! She loves to check in with her people, making sure she is behaving and coming in for a boop here and there. She is trainable simply because of her people pleasing nature. She loves to boop people and other doggies with her cute nose rather than give kisses. It’s so funny! We love everything about this girl from her blue grey coat to her little cow lick down the top of her neck! She’s super soft and she has a little bit of a ridge down her back! Watch Maribella here: https://youtu.be/f9fzCgCaJDU?si=yblJtVDDTQwy9rep Maribella is great in the house and not destructive. She is quiet, not a lot of barking or whining, acts like she has lived in a home environment previously and has very good manners. She does not have any accidents in her kennel or free roaming from what we’ve seen. While her foster works on the computer she is a good girl and naps on the floor. She would make a perfect work from home companion! When you’re sitting there working on your computer every once in a while, she will want to show love, so she will jump up to give you a hug or she will try to slowly crawl into your lap. She is extremely loving and affectionate. She knows how to sit on command and loves rolling onto her back for belly rubs. This girl loves meeting new doggy friends. She gets really excited at first, so give her a chance to show you what a good girl she is. She has more of a rowdy play style, so we could see her fitting in a home with higher energy doggy siblings, or dogs that don’t mind showing her the right ways to behave. She became instant best friends with the dogs she met here at the rescue. Maribella loves praise more than anything in the world, so she will often look to her people to get approval throughout play time, which is great! She will be very tuned in with her person, whoever that may be. Could it be you? Maribella is one of those girls that is going to be deeply loyal, caring, and attentive to her family. She does all of this while still being respectful of new people without being overly eager. Maribella is very gentle with kids! She hung out with her fosters son, age 7 and seemed very comfortable from the beginning. With no hesitation at all, she wanted to give him kisses. She’s extremely affectionate, she’ll slip in gentle kisses here and there. Maribella really wants to hug you and she’ll put her head on your shoulder for a really long hug if you will have her. She will look up at you with her puppy dog eyes looking into yours, and wants to give and get love. She’s pretty confident, she doesn’t seem scared of anything, including when her fosters young son was throwing a balloon around in the air and hitting her with it. Her tail continued to wag. We could see her being a family dog with kids. We are happy to test this girl with whatever you may need. Just let us know! Ready to apply? Meet Polly! Polly-Anna, Polly Pocket, Polly Pittie, Polly-wog, the cheeky nicknames are endless! And the names are all as cute and sweet as she is. If you are looking for quiet companionship and playful charm, this lovable lady is ready, waiting, and available. Fall in love with Polly here: Estimated to be around 8 or 9 years old and weighing about 50 pounds, Polly is the perfect example of mellow maturity. While we think she might be a pittie mix—maybe with a touch of Lab—her true breed and exact age is anyone’s guess, but what we do know is she’s 100% lovable, huggable, good girl. Don’t let her age fool you, though—Polly still gets the zoomies now and then and will happily share a playful moment before curling up next to you for cuddles. Polly is fortunate to be waiting for her adoption day in the home of a loving foster. This is wonderful for so many reasons. This gives us a front-row seat to the day to day girl Polly is while she gets to learn and enjoy the rhythm of home life. So far we know she loves cuddles on the couch, is very adoring of her person, enjoys standing in a baby pools to cool her paws, and will gently carry around a toy in her mouth. Her foster mom has shared, she’s a dream in her crate, settling in quietly without barking or whining. On top of everything else, she loves a car ride with the wind in her face! Polly would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a family who understands her laid-back nature. She’s happy to take short walks or enjoy a little time outdoors, but she doesn’t need a yard to be happy. Even though Polly is good on leash and redirects easily when needed, she would love suburb or country life over anything else. As we all age, the quiet life becomes the dream life! Polly gets along well with other dogs, but as a mature lady, she appreciates calm companions who respect her relaxed vibe. When introduced to new dogs she calmly shared space with small interactions here and there. Overall, its easy to see the Polly is for the people and will be more than happy as a solo-dog. A cat-free home would also be ideal, but Polly has done wonderful with everything else, enjoying kids and car-rides Polly is an easy, lovable dog who asks for little but gives so much in return. Story
Y'all, I love Valley Girl SO MUCH! There are seriously so many great things I can say about her that it won't all fit here in this text box and I wish it did because she is that awesome. For starters, Valley was born to be a family dog! She has been around so many different age groups of kids and is amazing around them all. Even babies as young as 1 year old. I know this because she has personally be in my home with my 1 year old son. When I say she was better around him than my own personal dogs, I mean it. Valley was so gentle around him, wasn't bothered by all the crying, loud noises, all the chaos that comes with having a baby, and wasn't even bothered by his grabbing hands. Watch her video and see her in my home with my son and how perfect she is: https://youtu.be/gRsnZOJWJfI?si=TslU0H6mOoEcssIi Valley Girl is a pittie mix approximately 5 years old and currently weighs 67 lbs of pure love. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. I can promise you that you will never know a dog that will love you and impact your life the way that Valley Girl will. She is the soul dog you've been looking for. One thing about Valley that I love the most is how happy she is all the time. Seriously, no matter what this girl is always so happy. I also love just how easy she is and how comfortable she was the second she walked into my home. Valley didn't hesitate one bit making her self feel right at home. She honestly acted like she had been in my house before even though that was the first time. I also want to mention, once we got home it was very chaotic and I was running around like a mad women. I had a screaming baby that was hungry, my personal dogs barking like crazy, had things to unload out of my car, and had to rush to get ready for a dinner reservation. So Valley was quite literally thrown into the mix of my chaotic home and she was just along for the ride. Valley was left shortly after coming to my house (where she has never been before) and was kenneled for at least 4 hours in a new environment, in the same room with another dog kenneled in close proximity, and when we got back home, her kennel was clean and it didn't even look like she tried to get out to her kennel either. Which would have been very easy for her to do because it was not the most secure kennel. She did bark out of excitement one we got home but that was it. She immediately got over her initial excitement and was snuggling on the couch with me. I have fostered a lot of dogs in the past and I have never had a dog be so easy to transition into my daily routine than Valley. Which just goes to show how confident and happy she is wherever she goes, regardless of what is going on. I have no doubt that she will act the exact same way once you bring her home as well. Valley immediately took to my husband and absolutely adored him! She loved rubbing all up over him, leaning in for affection and sneaking in those famous kisses of hers. She also did great meeting my mom who she has never met before. Valley didn't make a peep when my mom walked through the door and even with my personal dogs going crazy and barking like buffoons, Valley still didn't bark. She was so inviting and loving towards my mom and I've seen her act this way with other strangers as well when she is out in public. Valley loves every single person that she meets. She has been to places likes Home Depot, ice cream shops, dog-friendly restaurants, pet stores, through the drive-thru, and every time - she loves everyone she meets. Valley is a social butterfly that you can take anywhere, have friends and family over at your house, and she will be as loving as she always is. She rides great in the car and I like to call her "passenger princess" because she loves sitting in the passenger seat, looking out the window, watching everything pass us by. She also does great on longer car rides as well. I have had her in the car with me for over an hour and she almost fell asleep sitting up. Valley can be your next road trip bestie! The absolute best thing about Valley that I am obsessed with, is how snuggly she is and how easy they are to come by. She doesn't need to be exercised before wanting to cuddle up or need some sort of mental stimulation to wear her out. Valley has no problem lounging around all day if you're not feeling well or just want a lazy day. She is all for it! Valley turns into the best weighted blanket where she will wedge herself in between you and the pillows of the couch, sprawling out and nuzzling her nose into the covers or resting her head on your chest while you watch a movie. You know she's real cozy when she starts to snore LOL. She doesn't snore loud though, it's just cute little piggy grunts really. Valley will sleep throughout the night in bed with with and she hardly ever moves either. Which is also a bonus because the last thing you want is to be constantly woken up by a dog. She will cuddle in the beginning, give you all the kisses, and will let you wrap your arms around her for the ultimate snuggles and will lay her head on your pillow. There is no shortage of cuddles with her, which I love. Even in the mornings, after a good nights rest, she is not bouncing off the walls with energy. Valley is calm in the mornings and even takes her time waking pup. After she did her morning business and ate her breakfast she was already posted up in my bed while I was getting ready and looking out the windows. If you have kids, you know how crazy mornings can be and she did not add to that chaos one bit. Valley is more than just snuggles and cuteness. She’s smart too! Valley already has mastered commands like sit, stay, out, has a great recall and has learned to walk with a gentle leader. A gentle leader is just another type of leash and some dogs just walk better with them. Valley girl is one of them! Especially when she sees a squirrel LOL. She loves squirrels and likes to chase them, they are just so exciting for her but when she is using her gentle lead leash, she is a lot easier to redirect. She did great walking with me and my little family and wasn't even bothered by my son's stroller either. She has had zero accidents at my house and can hold it all through out the night with no accidents. She understands that potty time is for outside only. She will immediately do her business the second she is outside. Valley also didn't ever get into anything that she wasn't suppose to either. Which was super comforting to know that I could could trust her to not destroy anything because it's already hard to keep up with a 1 year old that gets into everything, let alone having to worry about a mischievous dog at the same time. Valley is very food motivated and will do anything for a treat. Even with how food motivated she is, Valley has perfect table manners and isn't trying to steal your food off the table while you're eating. She didn't even try to steal my sons food when my mom was feeding him some muffins and it was definitely within reach. She sat there waiting patiently and even got a little bite because she was being so good. One thing that really impressed me was how she acted after she had people food. Some dogs will get all excited once that happens and not leave you alone hopping to get more but not Valley. She laid back down, walked off did her own thing and didn't become obsessive at all over it. Valley is dog friendly and does great passing by other dogs when you're out on a walk or when she sees other dogs in public. She doesn't bark at other dogs when she sees them either. In a home, Valley does best with confident males that like to play, enjoy those rumble and tumble wrestling matches, and also appreciate those calm relaxing moments too. Which is why she loved her best friend George. She would play wrestle with her and would let her go off and do her own thing as well. If you have another dog, she would be best paired with a male that has a similar temperament as him. Valley also is not the type of lady that needs another dog in the home to help her feel comfortable and open up or fill her energy needs. She is a confident and happy girl all on her own and she has a perfectly balanced energy that a walk around the neighborhood or game of fetch in the backyard is all she needs. Valley's love is the equivalent of two dogs combined so you won't ever have to worry about not feeling loved from this girl. She would also be best in a home with out kitty friends as well. Valley Girl is a true gem, and she deserves a forever family who will shower her with all the love and attention she craves. She's a total sweetheart. If you’re looking for a playful, resilient, and endlessly sweet companion to brighten your days, Valley is just waiting to fill your heart with joy! We are willing to test Valley Girl with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Millie Lil’ pittie here is a pocket-size girl, perfect fun-size, even travel size, and she has the fastest little tail wag I have ever seen! Take a look and then come back to read more! Two things we often have to make an educated guess on with rescue dogs is breed and age, Millie is estimated to be around 2 years old and is a perfect combination of a pittie and something small, weighing 39 lbs fully grown. When you get the DNA results let us know! One thing we know for sure is her size adds to her seriously charming and adorable personality. I am talking about a toy loving, bouncy thing who is practically magnetic and has never met a stranger. Once she meets you it is BFF status! She loves a treat and knows a few basic commands but she also loves sweet talk- an enthusiastic “good girl” said in her direction makes her light up! She has great basic leash skills and keeps a nice easy pace by your side. Thanks to her size and overall quiet demeanor, Millie is a great candidate for apartment/condo life. Of course, if you have a house with a yard she will fit right in. From what we have seen she is house and crate trained though we always anticipate they will need some help learning a new routine and their way around the potty places. When introduced to other dogs Millie was polite but overall showed more of a companion energy than a playmate. Granted, it was hot and all she truly wanted to do was lay in the shade. She has lived with a variety of dogs and has moments of playfulness but would be happiest as an only dog. She is so people driven and loves toys, so a few toys and regular snuggle sessions are all she is looking for. No kitties for Millie though, she was eager to meet our house cat in a way that tells us she would love to play chase with a cat and that only leads to chaos. We could easily see Millie as a family girl or a single someones bestie! Millie was a big hit with a group of kids age 4-7 and was so overwhelmed with happiness her tail did not stop wagging the whole time. She was gentle and never once jumped up to steal a kiss and was perfectly fine with the chaos a few young kids can bring. If you are looking for a sweet, joyful, petite little pittie, you have found her! Millie is ready for adoption now and is ready to be the best thing to happen to you this year! If you have any questions about Millie or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
**Fostered in Everett, WA and ready for meet and greets!** This is the biggest Kitten you will see today! This Kitten is a big, lovable girl who is bouncy and playful, with a contagious amount of happiness. Her foster notes that she is "SO affectionate"! She enjoys standing you or sitting in your lap smoothering you in kisses! When you’re cuddling with her, don’t be surprised if she wants to nestle her big ole kissable head into your legs. Safe to say, this big girl definitely thinks she's a lap dog! Her foster momma calls Kitten her “weighted blanket”. Kitten falls HARD for her people. Sometimes she can be cautious when meeting new friends, but she ultimately just wants to be with her forever family. She is a little shadow following you everywhere, and staring up at you with her squishy face and puppy dog eyes no one can resist. Her nickname is Big Baby Love Bug for a reason! Estimated to be 3 years old and weighing 73 lbs, she is fully grown, and we cannot dance around it, she is a big girl. Given her size and eagerness to experience all the amazing things the world has to offer, a handler that can physically manage her will be key to keeping her focus. She listens well and is very attentive, no worries there, a little muscle is just for good measure. Plus she is treat motivated which will only help when it comes time to practice leash skills or obedience. Her love of treats make us think she will be a good student. She even knows how to sit! She is interested in people food, but is not pushy and accepts a "no" with ease. Take a look at her video and come back for more! https://youtu.be/jVKBZY9fMYQ?si=JArQjGjw9M-8bUNo Kitten would thrive in a family home, and kids who are steady on their feet would be ideal so she doesn’t knock any littles over with love. She currently lives with a 5 and 8 year old. Her favorite part of the day is waking them up for school, and greeting them again when they arrive home! She is potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps like a rock all through the night in her crate. She is an amazing work from home companion, snoring the day away on her bed. She will come up when you have breaks for extra reassurance that she is a good girl! Kitten would most likley need a home with a yard. She loves going on walks with her foster mom, and she is always getting compliments from people saying how beautiful she is. She would also do well in a home with another dog. Kitten does well with other dogs, especially confident, playful males who like to have a good time and don’t mind a big, bouncy playmate. She has a balanced way of playing—happy to engage but able to set boundaries if another dog is too rowdy. Kitten would love a moderately playful canine friend in her new home. She would also do great in a home with a small dog as a well. She met our small dog tester Mateo and you see her in her video, sharing treats, snuggling on the bed together, sharing affection, etc. There was a moment when she got a little too excited and Mateo of course didn't want to be stepped on and he growled at her and she respected his correction and understood that she needed to be a little more gentle around him. Kitten is an all around good doggy friend to all. Since she is so loving and people oriented, she also wouldn't mind being the center of your attention if you don't have other dogs. She is a happy and confident girly all on her own and does not need the comment of another dog to help her feel comfortable and be the social butterfly that she is. For a family who wants a loyal, attentive companion, Kitten’s affectionate nature is going to feel amazing, her and that happy heart are a real treasure. Because of her size and occasionally bouncy happiness, she’d be a great fit for a home with older kids who can handle her big-hearted energy. And despite her name Kitten is not meant for a kitten. Basically, no cats for Kitten! She’s a little too interested in them and might find it hard to resist chasing a feline friend around the house. If you’re ready to introduce people to you new 73lb Kitten, she is just as ready! If this was her dating profile, then kitten is ready for her long-term committed relationship. She will love you from the second you bring her home! Kitten is looking to share her big hearted excitement for life. Could that be with you and yours?
