This sweet, beautiful and funny girl is still a pup! She is FANTASTIC. So easy going and fun. She is very loyal to humans and wants to belong. She listens. She goes with the flow and is ready to go on adventures or just chill with you on the couch if that is what you want to do. She loves treats and yummy food. She gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them. She walks easy on leash. RAYA did have puppies at 9 months old. She was surrendered to us with her puppies by a senior citizen who had her as a puppy and could not longer care for her. She was the sweetest most loving dog mom to them. They all got adopted at 10 weeks old. We want RAYA to be seen and loved and appreciated for the wonderful dog that she is. Helena has a big heart and a big body! Haha!! We assume she is an Anatolian Shepherd/Armenian Gampr. This site does not have that as a breed option. Best as the only dog. Helena was surrendered while in labor and required emergency surgery to deliver the puppies. The people that “owned” her claimed to not have any money for vet care and were driving around with her in the car for hours looking for a vet to do the surgery for free. Finally they ended up at an emergency hospital that knew our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS and they agreed to help with the surgery only if they surrendered the dog to them. They surrendered her and then had the nerve to ask if they could leave a $1,000 deposit for one of the male puppies! Some people are amazing! Of course we would not adopt to them! Helena was so neglected! She had a prolapsed vagina that they said had been that way for “a few months” and they never got her medical care. She was extremely dirty, under weight and she’s lucky she survived! She was too weak to nurse the puppies so they were bottle fed.

Remy was acquired from the local animal shelter, at the time his owner (I'm the cousin of his owner!) was underage and her family agreed together to adopt another dog as their first family dog was passing from old age. Remy has a lot of experience with other dogs due to this, and turned 3 years old on November 19, 2025. Unfortunately as time went on my cousin was given all responsibility for Remy with no help from the family, and it's not a safe household for either of them. My cousin needs to move out but can't leave Remy behind, he deserves a loving home that truly wants to commit to him long term. He could use a large yard due to his size, or frequent outings. He has a brief history of being scared of adult men to the point he will bark and protect his owner (my cousin.) However, he is a very sweet boy. He loves his family despite everyone but my cousin neglecting him. It breaks my cousin to have to rehome him, but it's best for both of them. Please give him a chance!

Ru has had a really hard go in his life. He was owned by a homeless man who didn't teach him manners and he was often loose in his neighborhood. Unfortunatley, Ru was part of a bite incident when he was roaming free. Due to that, he was taken to the shelter where he sat for a YEAR. When we got him out of the shelter, he was SO excited to be free. He has the funniest zoomies and adores playing with toys. He does need to learn some manners as he is a bull in a china shop when he gets really excited. We have had Ru in play groups wiht big dogs and he is a rough player, but he loves to play and could run for hours. Ru will be a great dog for someone willing to excercise him regularly.
