This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old anyways 95 pounds. He was very thin when we first got him, but he’s looking great now. He is neutered, up-to-date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet! To my future owner, My name is Boone and I am a two year old neutered Asian shepherd mix. I have been living with my family since I was a little puppy. I love them so much, but sometimes I get very protective over my human children with their friends. This makes my Mom and Dad nervous, and they have decided to re-home me. I am going to be super sad without them and I am a really good dog and wish I could stay. I am completely house-trained so I don’t need to be in a crate. I am pretty lazy and I love being a couch potato and going to bed early. My favorite place is the beach and going on car rides. I will make a great hiking buddy and love playing with other dogs. I get scared of loud noises like thunder and fireworks, and that crazy vacuum creature. Mila was surrendered because she wanted to be with people rather than sheep so she wasn't a very good livestock guard dog. Mila is really just a big ham who loves belly rubs. She is tons of fun and loves people. She is very food motivated so this can be used to help do some training with her. Mila loves people and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. We do not know what she thinks of cats. Due to her size, a home with kids 8+ is preferred (she loves kids but may accidently knock some smaller ones over). This gorgeous girl is about 2-3 years old and 108 pounds of hunka hunka burning love ❤️. Please help Mila find the loving home she deserves.
