Meet Peyton! Peyton is a 4 year old Anatolian Shaphard mix. She’s been with us at HALO for a few weeks for an evaluation to be adopted. As an Anatolian, she does have guardian breed protection tendencies. She would do best in an adult only home as the only dog. We have been working to socialize her with other dogs in playgroups during her stay. She was cat tested and decided the cat was scary! She will need a home with an experienced guardian breed owner. A few fun facts about Peyton: She is potty trained and very clean, not destructive She loves to play ball She is a great walking buddy She likes to jump up and give you kisses (a bad habit we are trying to break) She loves being able to run in our field and would love to have a big backyard of her own She loves to play in water Adoption fee includes spay, vaccines, and microchip. Reese is the total package—sweet, happy, and full of love! This beautiful girl adores hugs, belly rubs, and being close to her people. She has great leash manners, making walks a breeze, and strikes that perfect balance between playful energy and laid-back couch potato vibes. Reese gets along with everyone she meets and does wonderfully with other dogs, making her an easy addition to just about any home. She came into rescue pregnant and did an amazing job raising her puppies—now that they’ve all found their forever homes, it’s finally her turn. Reese is more than ready to be someone’s baby, soaking up all the love she’s been giving. Could she be your perfect match? Story
Byndi is a 2-year-old female presumed to be a Dane mix. She comes to us as a stray found by one of our fosters. A sleek black coat and mesmerizing dual eye color, she is a beautiful young lady. She is also a lady with manners, waiting patiently for food and gently taking treats, and is potty and crate trained. Byndi is Young and very playful, often happily carrying toys around with her. She seems to be an all-weather dog, having a grand old time playing in the snow and takes any opportunity to stretch her legs and have a good run. A family with a larger yard or an active lifestyle would be a lovely fit. Exercise will be important. She has had limited experience with cats, but has had good temperament thus far. Byndi has warmed up to people faster than she has to dogs. She seems to be intimidated by larger or more dominant dogs, but has had more playful and relaxed encounters with smaller companions. A home with smaller children might be on the overwhelming side for Byndi, older children would be a better pairing. She is still young and learning boundries. She is still very much in the middle of decompression and has attached herself to her foster mom quickly. Byndi seems to be protective of her person and will need slow introduction to house guests until trust is earned and a routine is built. We are working with a trainer to help ease her anxiety with all the change and finding positive ways to build trust and love. Showing Byndi that the past doesn't have to define her future, and that kindness exists in the world. Byndi has a lot of love and wiggles to give. We believe once Byndi understands she is safe and comfortable, she has all the potential to be the best companion for years to come. All Paw Patrol Dayton animals come snip, chipped, tested and treated. Her adoption fee is usually $285. However, to celebrate Paw Patrol Dayton's 14th Anniversary... her adoption fee is half off during the month of April! All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
