Story
Meet and adopt me at Pet Supplies Plus Beavercreek (3201 Day-Xenia Road) on Saturday, March 7th, from 12pm-3pm We recommend filling out an application ahead of time at: https://hsdayton.org/adopt/adoption-application/ All adoptions are done on a first-come, first-approved basis after meeting the animal at the event. Theo’s journey brought him to us from a high-intake shelter we partner with, and while we’re so grateful he’s here, it’s clear that all the recent changes have left him feeling a little unsure. New sights, new sounds, and a new routine can be overwhelming, especially for a sensitive soul like Theo. But underneath that nervous exterior is a calm, incredibly sweet boy who just needs a little time to feel safe. Theo is the kind of dog who blossoms when given patience and understanding. He does well with other dogs and seems to find comfort in their presence. And when he has the chance to run around and explore, you can see his true personality shine — his body relaxes, his curiosity takes over, and he becomes a completely different dog than when he’s feeling confined. It’s in those moments you catch a glimpse of the happy, carefree companion he’s meant to be. Theo is looking for a loving home willing to move at his pace — a family who understands that trust takes time and that confidence grows with kindness. With patience, encouragement, and a safe place to land, we know Theo will thrive and become a deeply devoted companion. We can’t wait to see him finally settle into a home where he feels secure, cherished, and truly loved.

Story
Meet Denali! Denali is a 3.5-month-old, 35 lb. Anatolian Shepherd mix with the most unique look — a large-breed pup in a low-rider, long body (we suspect he may be mixed with something like a Basset Hound!). He’s truly one of a kind. Denali loves being part of a pack. He absolutely enjoys playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with active canine companions and kids to grow up with. He’s fun-loving, playful, and full of personality. He responds well to correction and can be redirected easily. He would do best with an experienced owner who understands how to appropriately correct and guide Denali. In just two weeks, Denali has made incredible progress — it’s truly night and day from where he started. Any minor behaviors we’ve seen are already improving and are expected to continue fading with time, consistency, and structure. Denali was found as a stray, but you’d never guess it from his adventurous spirit. He isn’t afraid to explore new environments and has already learned to use the stairs in just a day! He uses pee pads and is picking up house training quickly. He is crate trained, though he does have a little separation anxiety likely due to his early circumstances. With patience and reassurance, he continues to gain confidence. His superpowers include epic puppy zoomies, bouncing all over the house, and bringing nonstop joy with his playful energy. He loves teething toys, tennis balls, and anything that squeaks. Despite loving other dogs, Denali is very human-oriented. He adores his people and just wants to please them. He thinks he’s a lap dog and would happily snuggle up on the couch to watch TV with you after a day of adventures. Denali is happiest when he’s learning new tricks, exploring with his humans, or cuddling close. He needs a patient, confident handler who can continue to help him grow into the loyal, devoted companion he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a unique dog with a huge personality, playful spirit, and endless love to give, Denali may just be your perfect match. Denali is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
SAAP, Please welcome back Anthony Bouvier.  He is an 11 month old Bassett/Anatolian Shepherd mix (litter had a DNA test done).  He was adopted as a puppy and returned for being too energetic and exhibiting typical puppy behaviors such as chewing. So he is searching for a furever home that understands puppy energy and the need for training to encourage positive behaviors.  Thus far we can tell you that he is very sweet and loving!! He is a medium to high energy dog but he will settle down to enjoy some quiet time. We are working on crate training and it is going very well! He does need slow introductions to new dogs. He takes a couple days to warm up and get comfortable with a new dog. Then he will initiate play and get along just fine! He does not display aggression or anything but will bark at the other dog.  He would benefit from basic training but he has been a good boy with direction and he is very treat motivated! We were told he was good with kids, but he is too rough for cats.  Apply today to meet this sweet boy! He deserves a home of his own! March 3, 2026, 3:13 pm

I'm eager to please and I already know how to sit, lay down, and shake--but I would love to learn more. I've made several canine friends during my time here at SICSA, and absolutely love running and romping around with them when I can. I'm a big fan of toys, especially the ones that squeak! Not to brag, but I think it's safe to say I'm a staff favorite around here due to my charisma. If I sound like the guy for you, come on down to SICSA to meet me! I promise I have plenty of love to give! This pet is available through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458. Story
Hello interested Adopter. My name is Lilith, but my foster fam always calls me "Momma". You see back in October '24 a foster said "Yes" to not only me...but my week old babies as well! MVPC saved our lives. I had wonky legs at intake, but everyone hoped and thought that crate rest with my babies would help. Well, come to find out, I'm just wonky. I don't remember how old I am, but I did have these babies later in life. After visiting the vet it was determined that I have hip dysplasia in the back and a wonky elbow in the front. This combination makes amputation of my front leg impossible. I will always need to remain on joint supplements. MVPC sees that I am a happy girl who has lots of love to give. I seem to be pain free for now, so I am now up for adoption. I would do best with a family who is used to senior dog issues. I am currently fostered in a home with male and female dogs of all shapes, sizes and energy levels. After years of neglect and countless litters of puppies, I'm looking for a sweet retirement home. I can't wait to meet you! ADOPTION FEE: $300 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: est. 10/17/2015 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Required CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME - If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $300 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. IF YOU ARE GOING ON VACATION OR ARE NOT YET READY TO PROCEED PLEASE APPLY WHEN YOU ARE.*** INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response. PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding! **WE ARE SUPER MUTTS - PLEASE SEE DNA RESULTS PRIOR TO APPLYING** Hi, my name is Perdita and I am the last one of Lilith's little demons. My litter may be a mix of a lot of different breeds (see our DNA in the pics) but I think that's what makes us the best! I am bold and a mover & a shaker. I am super spunky, brave and high energy. I also love to play with my siblings and am good with any size - big or small! I also love toys and to be with my people - I'm a cuddler. I am super cute and pretty darn smart! I really like to be the first to bark out "Hello" and greet you when you get home too!
