Bartholomew is a 2.5 year old, 22 pound Miniature American Shepherd/Poodle Mix (Aussiedoodle mix) with a gentle, sensitive nature. He may be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with a little patience, he quickly warms up and becomes a devoted, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be your best friend. Though Bart enjoys playing with other dogs outside of the house, he doesn’t want to share his human or humans with other dogs, so he needs to be an only dog in his forever home. He has great leash manners and enjoys exploring the world on walks, as well as running freely in his foster’s fenced yard. Bart is a smart and food motivated pup who enjoys learning and thrives with positive reinforcement. He loves attention from his people and will happily soak up all the scratches and affection you have to offer. Bart would do best in a home without children under 16. With the right environment and a patient adopter, Bart will blossom into a loyal and loving lifelong companion. Meet Lisa, a 1-year-old, 24 lb Miniature Aussiedoodle mix. She lives for a good game of fetch, a spirited session of chase in the yard, and long, sniff-filled walks. She’s a moderately active girl, a dream in the car, so she’s always ready to tag along on your next adventure. Lisa is a “people dog” through and through. Always curling up by your side and following you everywhere. She is a polite socialite who enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those closer to her own size. She isn’t a fan of rough-and-tumble play with larger dogs, she is happy to coexist with them as long as they respect her space! Lisa is still a youngster and can feel a bit anxious when left alone while she's settling into a new routine. Her perfect match would be someone who is home often or has the flexibility to be with her while she gains confidence. Once she's comfortable, she is a total professional. She isn’t a fan of the crate, but she is completely trustworthy when left out. She isn't destructive and will happily wait in her dog bed for your return. Lisa has a gorgeous, wavy coat that is incredibly soft to the touch, and she does shed a little bit. She will require a committed grooming schedule to keep her coat healthy, mat-free, and looking her best. Lisa knows sit, stay, and lay down, and is ready to learn even more. She would do best in a home with children 10+. FRIENDLY & SWEET:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 64 lbs. & I should lose a little weight Hi, I’m Sabrina!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me – they are so much fun to hang out with!  Now I hear that I’m ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever!  I hope to meet them very soon and charm them with my cuteness! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no small children that I may bump over as I’m a big girl!  I like giving hugs, but don’t know if I like being hugged yet since I don’t care for restraint during vetting, so kids old enough to understand that would be best.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a sweet, strong girl with a loving heart.  I’m friendly and happy, and I’ve been very affectionate with all the volunteers - I really enjoy being around people. / Energy level: 5-7.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’ and ‘come’ commands. I also give my ‘paw’ and I look forward to learning more.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule.      • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love sniffing around and taking in all the interesting smells, and being with people is one of my favorite things.  I enjoy being petted, giving hugs, and having fun with toys, too! / I did not like being restrained during my vetting or having my feet touched.  Vetting is very stressful for me, so wearing a muzzle is recommended.  And like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I have several small cysts on my back and a little mass on the left side of my face.  Just ask about these.  I came in with infected ears and have been treated for that.  I’m a fun dog looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 19, 2026, 1:03 pm

FUN, FRIENDLY & HAPPY:  Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 10 lbs. Hi, I’m Sirius!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me – they are so much fun to hang out with!  Now I hear that I’m ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever!  I hope to meet them very soon and charm them with my cuteness! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and though I wasn’t quite ready to play, I also didn’t show any aggression, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / I should not live with kitty cats! / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me as I’m very small. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a happy, friendly little guy who is sweet, cuddly, and full of fun.  I’m active and playful, but I also love close snuggles and being with my people.  The volunteers say I’m the cutest little happy guy, and I was very calm during my bath with no fears - I even seemed to really enjoy the body scrub and rinse! / Energy level: 5-7.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning more.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I’ve been doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’ve only had a few accidents on the shelter schedule.      • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy playing with toys, spending time with the volunteers, and going on walks.  Once I’m adopted, I’m sure we’ll discover even more things we’ll love doing together! / I’m not a fan of walking on wet grass at the shelter and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on my annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I just had a dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again - and not the talking-back kind of fresh!  I have a mild improving heart murmur that may be a result of needing a good dental cleaning, just ask for details.  My coat was thin along my back and near the base of my tail when I came in, and it is improving now with good care and good nutrition.  I’m on an over-the-counter joint supplement (Cosequin), which is good for all senior dogs. I had a cyst on my head that has been removed and my stitches/staples will come out soon.  I’m a joyful little dog looking for a wonderful family to share that joy with.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 19, 2026, 1:03 pm

A ‘SPECIAL NEEDS’ CUTIE PIE:  Approx. 8 years old / Approx. 15 lbs.   Hello - I’m Neo! I was found on some railroad tracks by a good Good Samaritan.  After completing my stray hold through animal control, I spent a couple of weeks with them, during which I was treated for pneumonia.  Wanting me to have the loving home I deserve, they helped me make my way to Mostly Mutts, where I’ve continued receiving great care.  My medical needs have been addressed, and while I’m still a special needs pup, I’m doing much better.  I will need ongoing medication and care, but I’m so happy that I’m ready to find a loving home of my very own! (See below for medical details.)     • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I get along great with the pack of pups in my current foster home – from the Chihuahua to the Shepherd mix – we are good buddies!  If you have a nice doggy at home, let’s meet! / Though I initially gave chase to the kitties in my foster home, I’ve learned not to do that and am now pretty calm around them.  All cats are different, so I’m not sure how I would be with other kitties. / I would do best with older children.  Smaller children that may spook me could risk a nip.  So, let’s meet if you have older children. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a sweet guy with a friendly and gentle nature.  A happy little guy who loves to be with my people, I will also take time to sprawl out on the floor and look out the windows.  I can sometimes be a little vocal when I am happy and then I like to roll around on the floor and be silly – what fun!  Sometimes I’m up for snuggling in a lap, while other times I prefer just being near you on the floor.  I’m a delightful and happy little guy.  / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  In my foster home, I’ve learned what ‘harness’ means when this is put on or taken off (I should only use a harness for walks and not have a collar attached to a leash due to my trachea challenges. In my foster home, I ‘come’ when called, and ‘go out’ when we go outside.  I formerly knew the ‘sit’ and ‘leave it’ commands, though I haven’t practiced those in a little while.  Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue my training together. / I’m not crated in my foster home. / My potty habits are a work in progress.  I do pretty well on a schedule and have improved at going while on a leash.  So, please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can continue to improve. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love my walks and have a fun little prance in my step.  Toys are fun, and I enjoy shaking them playfully or carrying them around.  I’m more energetic outside and love to play outside with my people – but shouldn’t do much outside time when it’s very hot and humid due to my health challenges. / I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love and attention. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I have severe collapsing trachea (so I do cough a good bit) as well as an enlarged heart.  I’m on a few prescription medications for these conditions that I’ll need to stay on for life.  Please ask about this so the folks at Mostly Mutts can fill you in on everything.  You may notice from my pictures that I have some tartar and yellowing of my teeth, but I cannot have a dental cleaning due to my trachea and heart challenges, but there are over the counter things you can try with me for dental health – once your vet approves them of course.  Ask about me to learn all the things I’ve overcome as I continue to be a wonderful companion.  I am looking for a loving home with a wonderful furever family that will love me and continue to meet my needs!  My adoption fee is $100.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 19, 2026, 1:03 pm
