Story
Bluey is an absolutely spectacular dog, but we have to rehome him because he does not get along with our current dog. We adopted him about three months ago and really tried to make it work with him, but he has consistently attacked our older dog. He is perfect on walks. He doesn’t react to other dogs and he’s fine in a dog park, but he does not do well living in a home and sharing a space with another dog as he is very possessive and resource guards. He’s a really sweet boy and would do best in a home where he’s the only dog and with older children only. Rehoming him has been a super tough decision and I really want him to go to a good home. He’ll come with his crate his food, his harness and leash and with his great attitude. He really really loves people but just cannot live with another dog.

This is Josie or JoJo or formally Josephine Wales. I got her in April at 10 weeks so she is still young and as not been fixed yet. As long someone is at home and/or around her she is a good dog. It is the times she is left alone that she becomes destructive. I have a full time job and can not be home to give her the attention she craves. I am not asking for a re homing fee for her I just want her to go to someone who will have the time for her.

Say HELLO to Maverick! Mavvy, as he is affectionately called, is the ultimate Standard Poodle! Smart, active, loving, loyal, and a touch stubborn….just like any self respecting Standard Poodle should be!  Maverick is just over 2 years old and about 60 lbs. He’s great with dogs of all sizes, house trained, and crate trained. He’s looking for a tried and true Standard Poodle family who loves a good Velcro dog. This boy loves to be right by his person’s side - he gives the best hugs! Mavvy’s favorite time of day is bedtime because that means he gets to cuddle up in bed next to his person all night long - sleeping in bed is non-negotiable as far as Maverick is concerned. Meet Teagan!  Earlier in the year we rescued Tate and Truman, 2 standard poodles, along with a poodle mix puppy from Upson County after they had been surrendered to animal control. A couple of weeks ago, we found out the same family had just surrendered 3 more standard poodles. We really take the “You don’t leave family behind” philosophy seriously, so even though it had been months since we saved the first group and we REALLY don’t have room for more dogs - we knew we had to save these guys! Teller was in the worst shape. He was completely matted and caked in mud. And his poor eyes so infected. It took hours to get him cleaned up. If you’ve ever had to shave down a severely matted dog, you’ll know it’s very similar to sheering a sheep - the hair just comes off in one huge piece. Thankfully, the girls Tiggy and Teagan, had been groomed before at some point and were in much better shape.  Our unconfirmed theory is that Teagan (grey) is mom to Teller (black) and Tiggy (blonde). Teller and Tiggy both appear to be about a year old so we think they are probably littermates. Teagan is about 2-3 years old - still young herself. All three of these amazing poodles are super super sweet; great with dogs of all sizes; and cats!! Sweet Teagan was even trying to play with our special little NeuroSpicy girl Sofia on her first night!  These guys are all looking for tried and true Standard Poodle homes. To know poodles is to love them, but these 3 have all been failed by humans once and we won’t let that happen again - so we really do want homes that know all the good, bad, and ugly that comes with having Standard Poodles as family members.
