I’m a beauty that was turned in by my owner who pretended to be a stranger that found me wandering. Due to this misinformation, I had to stay at the shelter for a week while they attempted to contact my owner. I could have been rescued the same day if they had been honest but I’m out now and happy to be. I"m only 7 and I’m great with my rescue housemates. When there’s a lot of chaos I run and hide. My foster mom says I’m like a Gazelle and I can clear a 2' gate without touching. I’m still learning to trust so that I don’t zoom around but my foster mom knows I have it in me. I'm ready for my forever home that will cherish me and never abandon me again.

Little Cowboy is a 5-year-old miniature poodle who was surrendered to Ruff Dog, and he is truly the ideal lap-dog. He’s quiet, affectionate, and absolutely loves to cuddle. We believe Little Cowboy may already be housetrained. Shortly after his arrival, he’s been going outside with his fosters'crew and has had no accidents. Little Cowboy was underfed before coming to us (though not as thin as some of the others), so he does best being fed separately or with supervision at mealtimes to ensure he gets his fair share. Bijou is a sweet little Poodle mix. He is about 2-3 years old and weighs 10 pounds. He was found dumped on the side of the road in a crate with another dog who has since been adopted. Bijou was matted and terrified when he arrived at Tiny Paws. It’s been a long road but he has made excellent progress and come such a long way in his foster home, but is still quite shy when meeting new people. Bijou is sweet and affectionate to his foster mom. He is so excited to see her that he gets the “tippy tappies” and that has become his nickname. He loves his foster siblings and we are requiring another confident dog in the home that can help show him the ropes!
