Ziggy is a pyrenees/heeler mix, 1 1/2 years old, neutered male.He is a total goofball, a loving and loyal boy who deserves a home where he can get all the time, attention, and care he needs. Since he is a very high energy dog, it would be best if he had a larger yard to run around in or to stay an outside dog. He is very shy but will come out of his shell. We are committed to finding the right person or family—not just the first one who asks. Emily was rescued by one of our kind Humane Deputies. A concerned citizen had called about some dogs in the neighborhood. They looked under nourished and in bad physical shape. After checking on the dogs, the deputy made the decision to take them to the safety of the shelter. Emily is a two-year-old cattle dog mix. She has all of her vaccinations, she is heartworm negative, she has a microchip, and she has been spayed. Emily still has a way to go to get back to a healthy weight. Emily is a sweet girl that would love to be in a family where she could play in the yard, spend time with the family inside, and go for long walks in the evening after a nice dinner! Wow! That would be a dream come true for Emily!
