Story
Meet Sunni — aka Chilli, because she looks just like Bluey's mum! This five-year-old red heeler mix is housebroken, crate trained, and great with kids and adults. She's vocal when she wants to play but happiest cuddled up on the couch. She'd thrive with an active family who loves walks and adventures. Calm on a leash, not reactive, and fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative. Sunni has been known to escape a yard, so be sure your gates are secure!

Story
Dallas is a young and adorable blue heeler mix. He was brought to the shelter because he lived in a home where there were several “mama” dogs that had litters and none of them were getting the attention and care that they needed. The shelter stepped in and helped the homeowner bring the pups in and get them ready for adoption. Dallas has all of his vaccinations for his age, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. Dallas is a very young puppy so if you adopt him, be sure you have the time and patience to train him, socialize him, and most importantly love him.

Story
Sweet Mabs was picked up by Animal Control from a business near the Northern Boulevard. She had been hanging around there for a day or two and the employees were afraid she might get hit by some of the trucks used by employees. After waiting her allotted time she is now available for adoption. Mabs has all of her vaccinations, she is heartworm negative, she has a microchip, and she has been spayed. Mabs is a one-year-old cattle dog mix. She passed her behavior test with flying colors! She is sweet and does fine with other dogs. She is a bit shy, but warms up quickly especially with other four-legged friends!

Story
Ziggy is a 3-month-old female Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mix.  These puppies were born at PAHS shortly after their mother was turned in.  They were put into foster until they were old enough for adoption.  Each puppy is adorable and uniquely marked; there are 10 of them available for adoption.  These puppies will be medium to large adult dogs who will weigh at least 50 pounds.  All of these puppies are very loving, sweet, and would be good with other dogs and children.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  April 11, 2026, 7:54 pm
