Story
Gizmo is an 1-year-old male Red Heeler mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He was found at Prattville Walmart; and his owner never claimed him.  Gizmo has a red brindle coat with white markings and he has a shorter tail. He currently weighs only 31 pounds; he is considered to be a medium sized dog.  Gizmo is well behaved when walking on a leash; and he is crate trained/house trained. He is playful and would be fine with children and other dogs.  Gizmo has a submissive attitude which helps him get along with everyone.  This cute guy is ready to have a new start on life with a new family. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  November 28, 2025, 8:49 pm

She is a sweet gal, happy to get attention but also happy to do her own thing.  Saying no to young children as she takes treats from us like a hungry piranha so have to watch your fingers.  Good with other dogs, will do best with room to hang out outside when she wants to do her own thing.  Active gal.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).   The first step is to our Adoption Application here:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .   IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you.  Please make sure you have either added our email  (hselco@bellsouth.net)  to your contact list or that you routinely check your SPAM folder for our response just to be safe. Story
Buster is a gorgeous red heeler who survived the kind of past no dog deserves. When we first laid eyes on him, he was barely visible—hidden behind weeds, vines, and the remnants of an outdoor kennel he’d been stuck in far too long. But that chapter closed the moment he came to Full Circle Rescue and Sanctuary. Since then, Buster has gotten the medical care he desperately needed, including full heartworm treatment, and he’s officially healthy, cleared, and living his best soft-boy life. This guy is low-key, low-energy, and cool as a cucumber in sunglasses. If your idea of a perfect day is a comfy couch, a good show, and a dog snoozing at your feet like a loyal sidekick, Buster is already sold. He’s crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and gets along with other dogs who match his calm, go-with-the-flow vibe. Buster isn’t trying to be the life of the party—he’s trying to be someone’s steady, peaceful companion. If you’re looking for a dog who just gets it… this is your man. $300 adoption fee covers neuter, vaccines, parasite prevention and microchip. Apply at FullCircleRescueAndSanctuary.com

Meet Speckles! Speckles is a beautiful 4 year old red heeler mix that is ready to meet her forever family. She's the perfect size at about 45lbs. Speckles is deaf but she doesn't let that get in the way of anything. She loves people and kids and goes crazy for a tennis ball. She is excellent in the car and loves to go. She jumps right in and lays down. She'd love to be your adventure buddy. Speckles is being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama. She is housetrained, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, spayed, and microchipped.
