Story
Introducing Cash! 🐾😍 He is a 12 week old Heeler/Shepherd mix with striking blue eyes and the classic puppy-dog personality to match. He’s silly, affectionate, and extremely people-oriented, always happiest when he’s with his humans. He greets everyone with enthusiasm but has a special soft spot for the people he’s bonded with. Cash isn’t shy about letting you know when he wants attention — he’ll happily speak up, lean in, and make sure he’s included. When the excitement settles, he loves cuddling and staying close to his people. Cash is potty trained and kennel trained and has had no accidents in his kennel, showing great consistency and routine awareness. He also does well with cats and other dogs, making him a great fit for many different home environments. He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and searching for his forever family. If you’re looking for a joyful, expressive companion who will keep you smiling and always remind you how happy he is to see you, Cash could be your perfect match. ❤️

Story
Sadie is a 9 month old Blue Heeler (Cattle Dog) mix. She is healthy, energetic, highly trainable and responds to basic commands. She has completed beginner and intermediate training at Pet Smart, and has attended a few days of doggy daycare, with no problems reported. Sadie is very friendly with people and other dogs. She tends to chase cats, and has only had limited experience with small children. She enjoys being very active, loves chew toys and interactive toys, loves training, and loves cuddling on the couch. Her trainer thinks she would be good at agility training. Sadie is up to date on all vaccines, veterinary care, and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. It has been a very difficult decision to find a new home for Sadie, and we want to find a good home for her, with a loving family or individual. We want to ensure, as much as possible, that she is cared for and treated well.

Story
Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!     Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!   Pet Description:  Ruby is a 1 1/2 yr old female, 37 lbs, maybe a Heeler/Husky mix but just our best guess.  She was found by a wonderful family who wanted to keep her and had all of her vetting done but she just would not stop chasing the cattle so looks like Ruby is not a good farm dog candidate.  She is crate-trained but not housetrained, loves children & getting attention.  Is very smart, also VERY active - will need a 6' fence as she can easily sail over a 4'-5' fence and then does like to go investigate far and wide.    Do not even think of chaining her (which is against our adoption standards and contract) as once she figures out what you are going to do she will take off and play keep away.  Might be a great agility candidate to channel some of her energy.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).   The first step is to our Adoption Application here:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .   IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you.  Please make sure you have either added our email  (hselco@bellsouth.net)  to your contact list or that you routinely check your SPAM folder for our response just to be safe. If we do not receive a timely response we simply move on to another applicant.   To learn more about us, visit our Website at: http://www.elmorehumane.org;  Phone: (334) 567-3377 Fax: (334) 567-8774 E-mail: hselco@bellsouth.net   November 20, 2025, 9:54 pm
