Meet Dusty! This adorable Queensland Heeler is as sweet as they come. He loves going for walks and searching for all the best smells. He is great on leash making walks fun for everyone!Dusty is about 2 years old and just under 50 lbs making him a perfect medium sized dog. Dusty can be a little shy at first, but is coming out of his shell and showing us what a lovely little companion he is. Dusty is super smart and catches on quickly when learning new games and cues! He is very treat motivated and when you combine that with his intelligence, the sky is the limit for this guy!

Story
Who is going to be the lucky person to bring this dog into their life? Sofia is a doll! She's about a year old and was rescued from the Riverside County, CA shelter just in time. She is now in foster care in Santa Barbara, CA. Sofia is everything that a cattle dog should be. She's smart, energetic and athletic. She's also capable of being chill and hanging out as long as she gets decent exercise. And she wants nothing more than to please her shepherd. I've rarely had a foster dog who showed such a quick submissive response to correction. That plus a quick mind will make her so easy to train to be whatever you want! Sofia is great with all other dogs she has met, and she has met a lot. She plays well with a larger age-mate. She's got high enough prey drive that cats are likely not a good match for her. She was also very nervous around a toddler, so she's a no for a home with small children. But she's friendly with older kids. Sofia is housebroken, loves leash walks, and is great on car rides. She's going to be a fantastic companion to anyone who wants an active dog who also wants to cuddle!

Story
COURTESY POST: These dogs are only available in the Santa Barbara County/western Ventura County area. Falcon and Olsa are a bonded pair, most likely father and daughter, who were left behind when their family moved away. They were in a shelter for awhile but are now in foster care. If you want two quiet older dogs who need very little and just like to hang out, this is your answer. Both dogs are low key. They are housebroken and crate trained and good on leash. They love a neighborhood walk but are mostly happy to just hang out. Because of undersocialization, they are very shy meeting new people and take a while to warm up. Falcon is more shy, but once he warms up to you, he is a lover who will sit next to you on the couch and ask ask ask for petting. Both dogs are great with other dogs, with no aggression issues. We haven't seen them with cats. They would be fine with kids, but no young ones because the children would scare them! Both dogs are vaccinated, fixed, and microchipped. They are available from Santa Barbara County Animal Services and the adoption fee is $110 per dog (although maybe we could get a 2-for-1 deal!).

Story
Hi! I am Charlie handsome heeler mix that weighs 18 lbs. I am a sweet boy but all puppy. I get along great with other dogs and would love to have another dog to play with and run around with. My foster mom thinks I would do best with a fenced back yard as I do have lots of energy to burn and love to sunbathe. I stay in a puppy pen while my foster mom runs errands. If you would like to adopt me please fill out an application on the spark rescue website www.sparkrescue.org. Thank you for choosing to adopt!

These pups are in Lompoc, California too!

Esther and Poptart are a bonded pair of Border Collie mixes who share an unbreakable bond, and they're looking for a forever home where they can stay together. Both Poptart and Esther are high-energy dogs who love to play and run. They are incredibly friendly, sweet, and playful with their human companions. Their love for snuggles is unmatched, and they'll happily shower you with affection and tail wags. However, it's important to mention that they both have a strong prey drive and are not compatible with other dogs or small animals. They need to be the only pets in the household. Additionally, Esther is quite the jumper, so a yard with a secure and tall fence is essential to keep her safe. Story
Teemo, is a 7 year old Australian shepherd born on 3/19/18 . Teemo is a very cool dog that loves playing catch all day or until your arm gives out. Even though Teemo is very energetic, he loves receiving love and hugs and will lay down with you. We decided to give Teemo for adoption due to small children as well as allergies caused to the 2 year old. The wife and I work all day and cant give them the attention they deserve. We want him to live a good life with the attention he deserves and be happy and loved. He has a lot of love to give and a lot of balls to catch!
