Story
ONLY AVAILABLE TO SLO, SANTA BARBARA, VENTURA, and NORTHERN LA COUNTY ADOPTERS: Sweet Mamie is a petite beauty. We think she is a purebred cattle dog but might be a Texas heeler (cattle dog/Australian Shepherd). She looks to be 2-3 years old. Mamie was terrified of the world when she came to us, but she has had a magical transformation and now loves it! She likes going on walks (and walks beautifully on leash), is happy to meet people, and loves other dogs. She's very easy to have around, as she is housebroken and even taught herself how to use a dog door. She likes kids too. She met cats once and was pretty interested, but is low prey drive so she could probably be taught to respect them. Mamie is not a high energy dog, so she'd be perfect for a family that just wants to do neighborhood walks, although she can handle more if you want to do it!

Story
RASCAL is a wriggly, derpy, gentle little guy. This dashing tuxedo boy is about 40 lbs and one and a half years old. He is a little shy at first. But give him a few minutes and he shows his loving, even tempered, gentle nature. He wants to please, takes treats very gently and listens well. Rascal is learning to walk nicely on leash. He pulls a little when excited but settles down and loves his walks. Rascal is a medium energy guy. He loves a bit of play but mostly wanders the yard for sniffs and then wants to come and cuddle. Rascal is dog friendly and non reactive with other dogs. He was kenneled with another dog at the shelter before he was rescued. He would be fine living with another dog or happy on his own with his people. This gentle, sweet young boy is longing for a home of his own and a family to love. To Adopt RASCAL please fill out an adoption application: https://www.allforloveanimalrescue.org/adoption-application Or Email: Info@AllForLoveAnimalRescue.org Ventura County, CA.

Story
Breed: Australian Cattle Dog / Jack Russell Terrier X DOB: 1/2021 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: medium Color(s): black/white/brown Description:Hi, I'm Mando, an active Australian Cattle Dog / Jack Russell Terrier X in need of a new home as my owner sadly has passed away. I'm thankful CARL has accepted me into their adoption program and will help me find my forever home. I know basic commands and enjoy going for walks. It's unknown how I would do with dogs, cats or children. A trainer thought an adult only home or a home with older children would be best for me. I do bark at other dogs on walks, but I'm calm when in a dog park. If you have a fur baby in the home already, please bring him/her along so we can do a meet and greet. I've adjusted to other people when my owner went into hospice and lots of new people were coming into the house.Although my world has been turned upside down, I've adjusted as best I can. If you have room in your heart and home for me, please fill out an online application to meet me.May 2, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Listen up, folks! It`s time to meet the one and only Tj, the black and white charmer of the Australian Shepherd mix world! This pup has got the looks, the personality, and a whole lot of spunk to boot.Tj may only be a year and two months old, but he`s already mastered the art of leash walking. He struts his stuff with such finesse that you`ll feel like you`re walking with a canine model on a fashion runway. And let`s not forget about his love for treats - this pup will do just about anything for a tasty snack. Just be prepared for some serious puppy dog eyes and a tail wag that could power a wind turbine. But Tj`s charisma doesn`t stop there. He`s a social butterfly who adores the company of other dogs. Whether it`s a game of fetch, a friendly wrestle, or a good old-fashioned belly rub session, Tj knows how to have a doggone good time. He`s the life of the doggy party, always ready to make new furry friends and spread the joy wherever he goes.Weighing in at approximately 54.00 lbs, Tj is the perfect combination of cuddly and compact. He`s got just the right amount of fluff to snuggle up with on a lazy Sunday afternoon, but he`s also agile enough to join you on all your outdoor adventures. With Tj by your side, you`ll have the best of both worlds - a loyal companion and a four-legged bundle of love. Now, here`s the scoop - Tj has been hanging out at the shelter since Nov 19, 2023. But fear not, my friends, because he`s currently living it up in a foster home while he patiently waits for his forever family. This lucky pup is experiencing all the joys of a temporary home, complete with comfy couches, tasty treats, and endless love. So, if you`re ready to add a dash of excitement and a whole lot of wagging tails to your life, head on over to the shelter and meet Tj. Get ready for an adventure filled with laughter, puppy kisses, and memories that will last a lifetime. Adopt Tj, and brace yourself for a whirlwind of fun, mischief, and a love that`s as wild as the Australian Outback. Trust me, folks, this pup is the real deal - a one-of-a-kind companion who will steal your heart faster than you can say `fetch!`

Story
Chip is a four year old Australian Shepherd. He is affectionate and loves kids. He will play fetch to his heart's content. Chip is good with big dogs and will run and wrestle with them. Does not do well with cats or small dogs though, so a home with a big playmate or an only dog is best. He weighs around 58 lbs and would be a great running or hiking companion. He is located in foster in Santa Barbara. Aussie experience preferred. Neutered and up to date on vaccines.
