please read descriptionLibby is an 11-month-old Heeler/Malinois mix who had a tough start in life—abandoned as a newborn and bottle-raised by rescuers—which helped shape her incredibly affectionate, people-focused nature. She loves deeply and forms strong bonds with her humans. With a big personality, a gorgeous Malinois-style head, and even bigger energy, Libby is an exceptionally smart, fun-loving young pup. At about 50 pounds, she is potty trained, kennel trained, and rides wonderfully in the car. Libby loves her walks and is learning to walk politely on a leash. She’s an active, enthusiastic girl who would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another playful, energetic dog. She does well with all dogs and has never shown aggression. Because she can be a bit rambunctious, we recommend older children and households without very small or senior dogs. She hasn’t been tested with cats but hasn’t shown signs of prey drive. This playful pup enjoys tug-of-war, fetch, and cuddling up at the end of the day—whether in her kennel or in your bed, if allowed. Because she is extremely intelligent and requires both mental and physical stimulation, Libby needs an adopter who is not only active and patient but also confident with training and excited to help her reach her full potential. I am the most loyal doggo you will ever meet. If you don't want a shadow following you around in the shape of me, I'm not the dog for you. My favorite thing to do is play fetch outside. My humans say that I would literally collapse from exhaustion before I'd quit playing ball. I love to go for walks, get pets, and cuddle whenever possible. I do bark sometimes, but how else would I look out for you? I really am a lover, and just want to be the best boy I can be. A home with older children would be best. I have a lot of training and I learn new skills really quickly. I love being a working dog so give me a task or something to do and I'm on it. I lack manners at times, I like to barge through doors or open ones that are supposed to be closed but mainly because I just want to be involved. I've lived with other dogs, but I'd been around them multiple times (or grew up with them) so I'd suggest a slow and low energy introduction. Dog parks make me nervous and I can be reactive on leash to other dogs, so it's best that I don't go on walks with a lot of paw traffic or large crowds. I currently live with two children, under the age of two and frankly it stresses me out. Their quick movements, loud actions, and unpredictable behavior coupled with my breed as a herding dog, make it really hard for me to thrive in this environment. Older kids, where I can cuddle and they act more low key would probably be a better environment for me. I think the best place for me would be an older home, and possibly one where I can be spoiled rotten. I'm a comfort body so one that lets me on the couch and sleep in bed. Maybe a place with property so I can run around and cause trouble. I need a home with a lot of patience and love, because I need a lot and give a lot. I know how much my mom loves me, she's been my best friend since I was born and I know she's trying to give me the best chance to have the happiest life! I'd do best in a home with older children. My adoption fee includes a training program specific to my needs.

I'm a beautiful 2yr old Australian Cattle Dog mix. I am playful, energetic, sweet and up for any adventure. I am a little shy when meeting new people so I would need a little time to get to know you. Once I feel safe, I love to cuddle. I love car rides. I would do best with children 12 years old or older. No cats, please. I know basic cues such as sit, stay, come, and place. I like car rides. I walk fairly well on a leash. I am not a fan of being in dog crates. I am known to counter surf as well as resource guard any food or new toys from other dogs. If I'm bored, I may get into mischief so I'd need some outlets for my energy. I'd love to train with my new humans and bond as well. I get along pretty well with other dogs. I do like to resource guard my favorite things, so I am not good at sharing food and new toys. I'd do best in a home without cats. I do love to chase rabbits. I do tend to play a little rough so I might do better with older children. I do not share well with younger kids. I think children 12 years and older would be best for me. I love squeaky toys, tennis balls, fluffy blankets (for snuggling). I also like ice cubes. I'd love a home with love, patience, and understanding. I'd enjoy one with outdoor space and lots of walks. I like being outside rain or shine. While I like my space, I also like to snuggle close at nighttime. A house with no cats is best. I also might prefer a home as an only dog to get all the love and attention. My adoption fee includes, spay, current vaccinations, and a training program specific for my needs.
