Story
This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
We'll also keep you updated on Trooper's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Rosie is a beautiful amazing pup! She was my Bestfriend I got her when she was 10 weeks old. She is now 5 as of December 2025. She has a big black heart on the side of her. She’s protective and super loving, she loves to lick your face off and cuddle. She’s a foodie so she has some problems there, I barely EVER give her human foo She is potty trained and she knows commands. She doesn’t get along with other dogs anymore due to a slight attack at a dog park. She loves to play ball and run around. I’ve recently had a baby, she is now 1 and Rosie definitely doesn’t care for her and I just don’t feel safe with them alone. Rosie had me as a companion and now she can’t get much of my attention anymore and it’s definitely hurting her. But I don’t know of a proven fact. I also just don’t have much time or money for her anymore and it breaks my heart. She’s perfect every dog has there ticks but I would love for someone to love her just as much as I do!
