Story
**ARRIVING MARCH 7TH** Hi, I'm JAFFIE, a young guy (1 year) looking for a fresh start. You've probably noticed from my photos that I look a little bit "larger than life" and have lots of freckles. But I'm a medium-sized boy with an eye patch, and if we get separated in a crowd, you'll never mistake another fido for me. Do you like to move your body? I do, too. I'd love a buddy to walk or hike or play ball with. But we don't have to do that all the time--I'll be happy to curl up beside you when we're tired. As long as we can hang out together! If you think I'm you're guy, apply for me today. Our Process: At Trust Rescue we’re dedicated to connecting loving families with wonderful canine companions. You can trust that every “Fido” in our care is unique, fully vetted, and altered per veterinary guidelines, ready to find their forever home. While their weight or appearance may change as they settle in, our commitment to their health and well-being is unwavering. Whether they’re in Texas getting vetted, groomed, and altered, or comfortably settled in New Jersey, all dogs are entrusted to and under the custody of Trust Rescue. They receive loving care in dedicated foster homes or at our facility. No matter where they are, you can trust they are always with us and receiving the best possible care. We’ve made our adoption process straightforward and accessible because we believe in making adoption achievable for everyone. Ready to adopt? Apply today: Fill out our straightforward application! Personalized Meet-and-Greet: If we believe your family is the right fit, our team will contact you within 1 – 2 business days. We’ll schedule a private, 30-minute meet-and-greet at our Trust HQ. This dedicated time is exclusively for your family and your potential new trusted companion. Affordable Adoption: Our adoption fee is designed to be affordable. There are several ways to meet the wonderful dogs available for adoption: Join us at our adoption events every Saturday! Visit our website for future transport information and schedules. Follow us, Trust Rescue, on: • our website: https://www.trustrescue.org/adoptable-dogs • Facebook and Instagram for continuous updates on our available Fidos and Saturday events. We’re always posting new information! Many of our dogs have lived with cats. While we don’t assess for cat compatibility, with thoughtful introductions and your guidance, successful dog-cat relationships are common. You have all the information here, to the best of our knowledge. We believe in transparency and providing you with everything we know about our trusted companions. Trust Rescue proudly maintains an Open Adoption Policy, building a canine community you can trust and count on.

Story
***Arriving on March 7th transport*** Meet Koko 🐾🤍, a petite, 22-lb cattle mix with a stunning white coat and a whole lot of heart. At around 1–2 years old, she’s past the tiny puppy chaos but still young, playful, and ready to learn all the fun things life has to offer. Koko is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with her people. She’s smart (that cattle dog brain!), curious, and loves having a job—whether that’s going for walks, learning new tricks, or just keeping you company around the house. Her smaller size makes her a great fit for apartments or homes where you want an active dog without the big-dog bulk. She enjoys playtime, daily exercise, and mental stimulation, then happily settles in for cuddles once her energy is out. Koko would thrive with an adopter who enjoys an engaged, interactive companion and can give her the love, structure, and adventures she deserves. At Trust Rescue, we're dedicated to connecting loving families with wonderful canine companions. Story
This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
