Story
Meet the shelter’s very own "Central Park" duo! Gloria, a spirited 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix, and Melman, a charmingly awkward 5-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix, are a package deal of goofiness just like their Madagascar namesakes. Whether they’re navigating the "wilds" of the play yard or just trying to figure out where their long legs are supposed to go when they sit, these two are guaranteed to keep you laughing with their quirky personalities and endearing clumsiness. Gloria brings that classic youthful energy and vocal Husky charm, while Melman provides the slightly more seasoned, "worried-but-happy" vibe that makes him so lovable. They balance each other out perfectly—where one goes, the other is sure to follow, usually with a wagging tail and a look of pure confusion about what’s happening next. They are a true pair of best friends who find comfort and confidence in being together, making them a ready-made family for anyone looking to double the love. If your home has enough room for two big hearts and a lot of goofy antics, Gloria and Melman are ready to "move it, move it" right into your life. They are looking for an adopter who appreciates the unique bond of a bonded pair and is ready for a lifetime of awkward cuddles and double the tail wags.

Story
EXERCISE NEEDS: Daily Workout EASE OF TRAINING: Eager FRIENDLINESS WITH PEOPLE: Bashful PLAYFULNESS: Semi-Pro FRIENDLINESS WITH DOGS: Tolerant LEASH MANNERS: Pulls Sometimes Lucy is a vibrant and soulful 3-year-old Red Heeler who is ready to find her "forever" teammates. True to her breed, Lucy is as smart as she is beautiful, though she sometimes takes her "job" a bit literally—don't be surprised if she tries to gently herd the family from the kitchen to the couch! While she is a sweet-natured girl who absolutely thrives on cuddles and soft toys, she is a sensitive soul who prefers the company of women. She can be a bit shy and fearful around men, but with a patient, consistent, and kind approach, she has shown that she is more than capable of building trust and opening her heart. Because Lucy is a high-drive herding dog currently "unemployed," she does experience some separation anxiety when left alone. She is looking for a home where her humans understand the Heeler engine—someone who can give her the mental stimulation and physical exercise she craves. In exchange, Lucy promises to be your most loyal companion, your favorite snuggle buddy, and the best "supervisor" your household has ever had.

PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi friends, I’m Atlanta 🍑🐾 I’m just a baby, but I already know two very important things in life: I LOVE to play, and I LOVE to cuddle 💕 I’m a sweet little Red Heeler–Doberman mix with a gentle heart and a friendly personality. I get along great with both big and small dogs, and I’m always happy to be part of the fun! I might not be the pushiest pup in the room—I’ll happily wait my turn if my bigger, more outgoing siblings jump ahead—but don’t let that fool you… I really, really love attention. Once it’s my turn, I’m all in for snuggles, kisses, and being your little shadow 🥰 I’ve got a great balance of playful and calm. I’m always ready for a game, but I’m just as happy curling up next to you when it’s time to relax. Since I’m still a baby, I’m learning everything from scratch—commands, manners, all the basics. I’ll need a family who’s patient, loving, and excited to help me grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be. My dream home would be: * An active family who enjoys playtime and adventures * A home ready to train and guide a young pup * Lots of love, cuddles, and patience while I learn If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, and playful girl who will shower you with love (once she wiggles her way to the front of the line 😉), I might just be your perfect match 🍑💖 I can’t wait to meet you! Adoption FEE: $600 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi… I’m Milan 🏙️💕🐾 I’m a 7-week-old Red Heeler/Doberman mix, and I may be small, but I’ve got a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’m a smart, independent little girl who loves to figure things out on my own. New places, new toys, new challenges—I’m always curious and ready to learn. I might take a little time to warm up at first, but once I feel safe… that’s when my sweet, loving side really shines. When I bond with you, I bond deeply. I’ll be your little shadow, your cuddle buddy, your biggest fan. I love to snuggle (especially right on your chest!) and will greet you with kisses and excitement every time you come home. I may be the smallest, but I’m confident, determined, and full of personality. I’m crate trained and just starting my puppy training journey. I’m working on potty training and learning the basics, so I’ll need a family that can be patient, consistent, and ready to help me grow. The good news? I’m super smart, so I pick things up quickly! My dream home would be: * A home with another dog or pet to be my buddy * A family that can give me lots of love, attention, and guidance * A yard or space where I can play, explore, and learn I don’t love being alone for long—I really thrive on companionship and connection. With the right family, I’ll grow into a loyal, loving, and incredibly special companion. I may take a little time to open up… but once I do, I promise I’ll give you my whole heart 💕 Love, Milan 🐶💕 Adoption FEE: $600, which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi!! I’m Abby 🐾💙 I’m a 7-week-old Blue Heeler puppy with a playful spirit and a curious little mind. I love exploring everything around me — toys, grass, sticks, shoes… you name it, I’m investigating it! I absolutely love playing with other dogs and bouncing around the yard. I’m a happy, energetic puppy who enjoys wrestling with my siblings, but when playtime winds down I’m all about cuddles. I’m a pretty affectionate girl and I love being close to my people. I’m already showing how smart and alert Heelers can be. I’m still learning the basics like potty training, leash walking, and commands, but I’m eager to learn and love when my humans help teach me new things. I do great with big dogs and younger kids, and I’d thrive in a home that keeps me active and involved in daily life. My ideal home would have: • A dog sibling (big or small!) • Kids of any age • A fenced backyard where I can run and play I could do well in an apartment or townhome with access to shared yards or dog parks, or in a home with a fenced yard. As long as I have room to burn off my puppy energy and people who love adventures, I’ll be a very happy girl. If you’re looking for a smart, playful pup who will grow into a loyal best friend, I might be your perfect match! 💕 Adoption FEE: $650 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. Story
Evie is full of life and energy and loves being with people! She is good with other dogs and not so good with cars, so she needs a home with no cats. She likes long walks and car rides. Because she is so full of energy she needs lots of exercise - running in the yard, or at least 60 minutes a day is recommended. She would love to be a family dog with older children, but just as content with an active couple or single person.  Evie knows some basic commands- sit, shake, sit pretty, and maybe stay! Evie is up to date on vaccines, house and crate trained. She is only 25lbs and 7 years young! She is in the Goldilocks zone is dogs - not to big or small and not too young or old. She is looking for her forever home. Maybe that is with you?    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 10, 2026, 3:19 pm
