Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources 🌸 Meet Iris — Sweet, Smart, and Full of Love! 🌸 Iris is a gentle and playful girl with the most expressive eyes and an adorable “deer-tail” that wiggles whenever she’s excited. She’s intelligent and quick to learn, making her a perfect companion for a family that can provide enrichment, patience, and a predictable routine. Iris can be a little skittish in new situations, but she warms up quickly and shows her loving, affectionate side. She’s potty trained, good with other dogs, and okay with cats, but would do best in a home without small children. If you’re looking for a sweet, clever, and playful girl to become your loyal companion, Iris is ready to meet you! 🐾💛 📩 Message us to meet Iris and give her a forever home! Spike Energetic Cattle Dog Mix | Adventure Seeker | Herding Enthusiast Objective: Seeking an active and adventurous forever home where I can put my energy and instincts to work. Would excel for a farm or a home that loves outdoor activities like hiking, running, or four-wheeling. Skills & Strengths: - High Energy: Always ready for action, whether it's exploring trails, chasing a ball, or helping with chores. - Herding Instincts: Natural talent for keeping everyone in line—humans and animals alike. - Playfulness: Loves toys, games, and interactive play sessions. Frisbees are my favorite but they don't last long. - Adventure Buddy: Thrives in outdoor environments and enjoys being part of the action. - Quick Learner: Smart and eager to take on challenges with the right guidance. Areas for Growth: - Mouthy When Excited: I get so thrilled about life that I sometimes use my mouth to communicate since I don't have thumbs—training and consistency will help. - Mischievous: My curiosity can get the best of me, but it just adds to my charm! Give me a toy or puzzle to pass the time. Ideal Environment: - A spacious property where I can have a "job" to channel my energy and instincts. - An active owner or family who loves outdoor adventures and appreciates a playful, hardworking companion. - Someone experienced with herding breeds who can help guide my energy in positive ways. Fun Fact: I’m the kind of dog who will keep you entertained with my clever antics, big personality, and never-ending enthusiasm for life! Ready to meet your adventure partner? Let’s get started on our journey together! 🐾

Story
Bandit is a young and handsome energetic pup. He is around 40lbs and is a year old. He needs a person willing to spend time continuing his training as he is young and still in the chewing stage. He is treat and attention motivated. He is crate trained, rides well in car, he has made great strides on leash walking and potty training. Bandit has a silly, fun personality. He is very curious and has a lot of potential, I would say medium to high energy but he does have an off switch. He was a little nervous during thunderstorms but just needs to know where his person is. Bandit is an all around love bug that gets along well with other dogs, is neutered, current on immunizations and on preventatives. If he sounds perfect for your family, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration ane transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue eforts.
