Story
Hi, I'm Buddy! 🐕 I’m a striking 4-year-old, 52 lb Blue Merle Australian Shepherd with a wiggle-butt that doesn't quit. I know I’m gorgeous, but I’m looking for someone who loves me for my brain and my breed, not just my stunning looks. I’ve been adopted and returned twice because people underestimate my herding drive, so I'm holding out for a true herding-breed savvy handler this time! I am a brilliant, athletic "workaholic" who needs a job. I already know my basic commands, but I need an adult-only home and a routine-oriented handler who can provide solid structure. The Real Talk: Like many Aussies, I am highly sensitive to movement and can get nervous or nippy when overstimulated. I need an adopter who strictly understands the 3-3-3 rule for rescue dogs, handles high-arousal behaviors with positive reinforcement, and knows how to redirect my energy onto appropriate toys. Once I warm up and know you're leading the way, I am incredibly affectionate, playful, and loyal. My adoption fee is $300. Ready to give a smart guy the structure he thrives on?

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Aspen 5 month old Female Australian Shepherd puppy • 30 pounds Aspen is a happy, playful girl with a fun-loving personality and a heart full of affection. Like a typical Aussie puppy, she is smart, curious, energetic, and always ready for her next adventure. She loves exploring the outdoors, playing with toys, and being involved in whatever her people are doing. As a herding breed, Aspen is incredibly intelligent and active. Australian Shepherds thrive when they have both physical exercise and mental stimulation, so she is looking for a home that can keep up with her adventurous spirit and continue her training. Hiking, walks, playtime, training games, and outdoor activities are right up her alley! One of Aspen’s favorite things? Water! She absolutely loves to swim and splash around, making her the perfect buddy for beach days, lake trips, or backyard pool fun. This sweet girl gets along great with other dogs of all sizes, enjoys meeting new people, and would thrive in a very active home that can continue helping her learn, grow, and burn off puppy energy. Aspen is eager to please and already showing how intelligent and trainable she is. She would make an amazing companion for an active outdoor family. ✔️ Spayed ✔️ Up-to-date on shots ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Ready to go home ✔️ Older kids are a PLUS ✔️ Gets along with cats ✔️ Loves car rides ✔️ Loves swimming ✔️ Smart & eager to learn ✔️ Affectionate and cuddly Aspen is almost fully crate trained and is doing very well for her age! Since she’s still a young puppy, she does need frequent potty breaks about every two hours during the day and may still have an occasional accident here and there. She sleeps wonderfully through the night inside the house without a crate and does not make messes overnight. She also does great being left out of a crate and settles nicely in the home. With patience, consistency, and love, Aspen is going to blossom into an incredible dog. She loves attention, cuddles, and being close to her humans. Whether she’s playing in the yard, swimming, going for adventures, or curling up after a busy day, Aspen is sure to steal your heart. Story
Rocco is a sweet, playful boy. He is a mini Aussie. He was my sister's dog and when she could no longer care for him, I took him in. I have 2 other dogs, one of which is a chihuahua that does not like him. Also I don't have the proper home for him. He needs a fenced yard and an active owner. He loves going to daycare and playing with the other dogs. He can be protective of his family. He is not good on a leash and may have accidents if stressed but he is very good about telling you he has to go out. I don't want to rehome him but I know that he deserves a home where he can be free to be an Aussie. He is my little velcro dog and I want him to be in a very loving home with experienced Aussie owners.

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Acadia 🩵🐾 I’m a 1-year-old Australian Shepherd/ Staffordshire mix with the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddly sweetness. I love exploring the yard, sniffing all the new smells, and then curling right up next to my people for snuggles afterward 🩵 I’m a curious, affectionate girl who enjoys being part of whatever’s going on. I’m a little more outgoing than my best friend Denali, but I’m still very gentle and loving. I’m friendly with people, calm around other dogs, and always happy to greet you with a wag and a little nuzzle 🐶 I already know “sit” and I’m learning new commands quickly—especially if treats are involved! I’m also working on my leash manners and gaining confidence every day. I’m crate trained, doing great with routines, and making awesome progress with potty training. I can sometimes be a little nervous in new situations, but I warm up quickly and love having reassurance from the people I trust. I’m mostly quiet, though I may give a bark or two when I hear something exciting or unfamiliar—just enough to keep life interesting 😂 Most importantly, I’m deeply bonded with my best friend Denali. She helps me feel grounded, and I help bring out her playful side. We balance each other perfectly, and I would absolutely love to be adopted with her 🩵🐾 My ideal home would be loving, patient, and ready for two sweet girls who just want companionship, cozy naps, and a safe place to belong. We’d thrive in a calm home with gentle routines, lots of affection, and maybe a yard to explore together. 🩵 A word from my foster: “Acadia is such a fun and loving girl. She’s playful, affectionate, and always wants to be close to her people. Watching her and Denali together is the sweetest thing—they truly comfort each other and make such a special pair. Anyone lucky enough to adopt them will have two incredibly loving best friends.” Acadia is Heartworm Positive! Acadia is bonded with Denali; if they cannot be adopted together, a doggy sibling is required. Adoption FEE: $350, which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. Bublé – The Loyal Heartthrob with a VIP Guest List Looking for a dog who's handsome, loyal, smart and house-trained? Say hello to Bublé – the total package with a dash of mystery. This two-year-old shepherd mix is the perfect size—not too big, not too small. He’s athletic enough to be your running buddy, but equally happy to chill on the couch for a Netflix binge. He’s perfectly behaved in the house, walks like a dream on leash, and gets along fabulously with both dogs and cats. So what’s the catch? Bublé’s not big on strangers. He’s a “small circle, big loyalty” kinda guy. If you have people over often, he’s happiest tucked away in another room—no guilt necessary. He just prefers slow, respectful introductions and isn’t looking to host parties anytime soon. If you’re someone who values loyalty, quiet companionship, and a dog who gives 110% to his people, Bublé might be your soulmate. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now and let Bublé charm his way into your heart. Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUVR/dog All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
