She is super food motivated.  She has a good sit- maintain and eye contact.  Foster mom uses this when she get alert on her environment.  She will get barky and rowdy and pulls against leash when she see other dogs on leashes. So sit- maintain has helped with this issue.    Baloo is super smart and her recalls are great, however you must have a treat to reward when she comes. She is so smart she knows when there is No reward.  Baloo is super playful with toys and loves to chase the ball.   I can’t forget the water hose, her true heeling instincts come out, chasing it and jumping thru the air. Which is a good way to make her tired.   Baloo is crate trained and knows her routine.  She will be a short version of cattle dog, around 25 lbs.************* Baloo is a 7 month old ball of energy and cuddles. But mostly play!She is energized and natural herding instincts. Needs a herding experience home. She is crate trained and learning skills with training. She is learning not to chase the vacuum or broom. It’s a work in process. She has NOT herd people legs, as of now. Super smart and picks up a routine extremely fast.Quickly runs up the stairs when it is feeding time and bolts to her crate and sits patiently and proper, waiting for her crate door to open. She will be taking puppy classes at the local obedience dog school. Truth About Dogs School. Where she will learn more skills. Baloo ideal home would be with someone who wants to see her succeed and socialize her in the big world, and not shelter her at home. Baloo needs to go to a home with older kids, no toddlers, mainly because her high drive to chase. Plus, Cattle Dogs are sensitive to noise. Looking for an active family or couple. Baloo won’t be your low drive dog. A home with a fence is required for Baloo.Baloo is being fostered in Plymouth. His approx. birth date is 11/11/12 and he currently weighs approx. 50#. He is in a foster home and blending in with his house mates. He will not be placed with children. UPDATE - he is in foster, house trained & good with cats. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol And heart worm tested negative.His adoption donation is $100 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. Dutch Billy Boy came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky  where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building because he does have times of anxiety. His approx. birth date is 10/10/18 and he currently weighs 22#. We are guessing at his breed make up. This guy will not be placed with children and he will need structure in his new home. UPDATE - I am in a foster home & house trained! He graduated from obedience class, but needs a very consistent owner who will follow through on daily routine. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Lizzo is a 7-8 year old cattle dog mix weighing about 30 pounds.  She is dog friendly and loves to play with her friends that vary in age from young puppy to adult.  She is crate trained and learning good potty habits.  Lizzo arrived with missing hair and inflamed skin due to poor care and lack of flea prevention.  She has recovered nicely, but may have some scaring along her back.  Lizzo is a great little companion.  Lizzo's new family will have to give her time to adjust.  She is more comfortable right now with her dog friends.    If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Lady is a wonderful dog. It breaks my heart to re-home her. Her birthdate is 02/06/2023. She is 7 months old. I adopted her from Pat's Pet in the University Mall when she was 3 months old. Paid $700 for her. We have kennel trained her for night time and she is house broke. When I adopted Lady I worked remote from home and I was able to be with her all day. However, my job moved me onsite about a month ago and it unfair to leave her in her kennel for 8 hours a day. Not to mention she is extremely active and needs to run and play. My grandchild will be born soon, as well, and Lady does not know how to not jump on people. So the concern is two fold, the unfairness of kenneling for long period of times and the fear of her harming the baby. Lady would do well with someone who is home with her, can play with her, and has a fenced in yard with room to allow her to run.
