Story
Hello, this is Arya! She was adopted from a humane society August of 2019, roughly 7 1/2 years old she is an extremely motivated female dog. Originally from Texas, she was transported to Indiana shortly before being adopted by my ex-wife and myself. Roughly 58 pounds, she is very food and treat motivated, will listen to basic commands well (sit, lay down, stay). Since adopting her, Arya has moved with me three times, a fenced in yard or a large roaming area would be strongly preferred for her as she can run and play nonstop. She loves kids and is very friendly to people as a whole, an extremely loving dog. It is very hard for me, now divorced going on two years and working an average of 72 hours a week to give her the attention and exercise she requires. While having my mom helping with letting her out and basic playtime most days, it is simply not enough, and I feel guilty for not caring for her the way she should be. There is simply not enough space in this box to describe her.<3

Story
Although “senior” by definition, Storm has so much life to share. Her sweet, gentle, quiet demeanor is lovely. She enjoys her people, other dogs and cats as well. The beautiful balance of fun and calm. She will bring so much joy to her family. Stormy had some allergies in her past that resulted in her ear curls. They don’t bother her and require no special care. She does require, however, support of her spinal condition: Spondylosis. With an anti-inflammatory, glucosamine and Omega-3’s this is easily supported. She enjoys all the activities and plays just the same as any dog. However, we avoid jarring or too rough of play. Stormy has the best house manners, is crate trained, and napping in the sun is one of her favorites. She also enjoys walks at the beach, the park and being a part of whatever her person is doing. This sweet girl is very easy to please . Story
Zoey is a 2.5 year old cattle dog mix that was relinquished by her owner along with her puppies (the Happy Days pups). She's been a great mama and she's ready to have some attention on her! She's great with other dogs and cats and friendly with everyone she meets. She can jump a 4ft fence like it's nothing, so she will need a minimum 6ft fence.   If you are viewing this pet's profile on Petfinder or Adopt-a-Pet,.please use the application link at the bottom of the profile to apply. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact kayladarriaga@gmail.com for more information about this pet.  From silly upside-down snoozes to soulful puppy eyes, Leroy is the definition of a loyal, snuggly best friend. This 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog is playful, smart, and oh-so-loving—just waiting for his perfect person to share all the cuddles with.                            Fostered in Argos, IN | ~2 years old | Australian Cattle Dog | Housetrained Leroy is the total package—affectionate, fun, and incredibly loyal. He LOVES cuddling on the couch, snuggling into warm blankets fresh from the dryer, and rubbing his face on yours when he wants attention. Squeaky ball fanatic Completed obedience classes—smart and eager to please Great in the car and enjoys short walks Excellent house manners Showing wonderful improvement on leash around distractions, including other dogs Leroy would do best as the only dog in his home or could live with a submissive female dog. While he’s sweet and friendly with people (just ask his vet team!), he’s happiest and most relaxed when he doesn’t have to share his space with more dominant dogs. Leroy may display reactivity toward certain dogs and requires active management during such encounters, particularly in confined spaces such as elevators and hallways. Due to these tendencies, Leroy is not well-suited for apartment living.  Leroy would thrive in a calm, adult-only home -- perfect for a single person or a couple looking for a loyal, snuggly companion in a home where interactions with unfamiliar dogs can be minimized and managed appropriately.   Leroy is NOT SUITED FOR AN APARTMENT . If you’ve been waiting for that one special dog to be your best friend, Leroy is your guy!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 19, 2026, 6:57 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Lucky: A Loyal Shadow with a Gentle Heart Lucky is a sweet 9-year-old cattle dog mix with a calm spirit, a soft heart, and a deep love for being near his people. After the passing of his male owner, he settled into foster life and has shown everyone what a steady, affectionate companion he can be. Lucky is happiest indoors, padding from room to room as his foster mom’s loyal little shadow. He is leash trained, has excellent recall, and comes running with enthusiasm when called. When new people arrive, he may bark at first, but he settles quickly once he understands everything is okay. Lucky can coexist with other dogs, though he has his preferences and may not enjoy every canine friend he meets. He ignores cats, making him an easygoing presence around feline friends. He is crate-trained, but he rarely needs one because he does so well with his house manners and outdoor routine. He enjoys a little playtime, but he is just as content curling up on the couch for a quiet snuggle. Lucky would thrive in a quiet, easygoing home, especially with a retired person or couple who would enjoy having a devoted companion nearby. He would be okay with older children, but younger children are not a good fit for him. If you are looking for a gentle soul who will bring warmth, loyalty, and steady love into your days, Lucky may be the perfect match. Lucky is being fostered in Plymouth, IN   Please contact cripecasey@gmail.com if you have any questions about Lucky.  You can complete an application to adopt Lucky or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org .     ***  The potential adopter will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 19, 2026, 6:57 pm
