Ozzie is a 1 year old male Heeler mix who weighs around 45 lbs. Ozzie Is reserved at first but a love bug once he gets to know you. It doesn’t take long! He was dumped as a puppy before coming into the rescue. Ozzie does exhibit herding behavior with his foster family especially when he’s outside in the backyard but he’s also a good watchdog. He’s crate trained and house trained, making him an easy addition to any family. Ozzie loves toys and any dog bed he can make himself fit into! We’re not sure how Ozzie would be with cats but he is good with children and fabulous with other dogs. He would be great with another playful dog in the family. He is very athletic and can jump a 4 ft fence so a high fence or invisible fence is needed. If his foster family is in the front yard, he wants to be with them so sometimes he jumps the fence but will stay with them. Ozzie is neutered, fully vetted and microchipped.
