You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant. This is one VERY GOOOD GIRL! Her foster says 'She is a lap baby who is super affectionate and good with everyone she meets. She is also housebroken and used to using a doggie door. ' Every box checked for best dog ever. Her sturdy but very short little legs will make you laugh every day as she fast trots to keep up with you. A friendly, happy dog, she is ready and waiting to bring smiles and sunshine into your life.   If you are interested in Speckles, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 13, 2026, 3:44 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Cheyenne Blue Heeler / Lab Mix | ~12 weeks old | ~18 lbs Cheyenne is a confident, intelligent, and affectionate young girl with a wonderful balance of loyalty and independence. She’s the kind of puppy who makes you smile every day — bright, capable, and full of personality. She is incredibly smart for her age and is already showing great house habits, keeping herself clean and picking up on routines quickly. Cheyenne enjoys being around people and seeks out affection, but she also has an independent streak that allows her to entertain herself when you’re busy — truly the best of both worlds. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, reads social cues well, and fits in easily with a group. Whether she’s playing, exploring, or relaxing nearby, she carries herself with calm confidence and curiosity. We believe Cheyenne is a Blue Heeler / Lab mix, a combination known for intelligence, loyalty, and adaptability. These dogs tend to form strong bonds with their people while also being capable, thoughtful companions. Cheyenne would do wonderfully in a home that appreciates a smart dog who enjoys connection, routine, and inclusion in daily life. She’s going to grow into a devoted, well-rounded companion — the kind of dog who is always nearby, always aware, and always part of the family. If Cheyenne sounds like the kind of dog you’ve been waiting for, we’d love to hear more about your home and lifestyle. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 870-577-3744.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 12, 2026, 4:25 am

Story
Don’t Worry, Adopt Miss Happy!MEET MISS HAPPY!   The second of our Christmas Eve delivery of puppies from TX, Miss Happy is here to tell you that you need a second dog! Like her sister, this little gal was born to an Australian Cattle Dog mom and a dad who was believed to be a labrador. She was born on 10/7/25 and is a typical, happy, roly-poly, growing puppy. Only ~3 months old, she is not yet spayed but that will be a condition of her adoption.   This little spitfire is very sweet. Unlike most puppies her age she does very little mouthing or biting of hands so we believe she would be good with respectful kids. She is highly food motivated, so training is easy and fun. She’s already learned Sit, Lay Down and Paw and she is working on leash manners.    Miss Happy is also doing really well with potty training with consistency and patience from her people. She sleeps in her crate, but still has to rage for about 30 minutes to get her puppy energy all the way out before she’s ready for dream land.    She absolutely loves other dogs (do you have one??) and would love to go to a home where she can be the little sister. She promises not to be too annoying to her big bro or sis! But if you don’t have a dog already, she’s ok with that situation as well. She loves people even more than dogs and bonds quickly and deeply to her human. If you need someone who will adore you unconditionally, look no further than into her deep, dreamy eyes. She will follow you to the end of the earth - or the bathroom, whichever you prefer.    Miss Happy’s adoption donation fee is $450, which includes routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for her by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org.  Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.January 9, 2026, 11:18 am
