Story
Lincoln is a 6.5-year-old cattle dog mix seeking an experienced, adult-only home. He's deeply loyal, intelligent, and thrives on routine, hikes, car rides, and quality time with his person/people. Lincoln has behavioral challenges, including reactivity, guarding, and anxiety. He cannot live with other pets or children and needs a calm, structured home, ideally with a fenced yard and access to trails. He enjoys things like snuffle mats and puzzle feeders for enrichment. He has started working with a behaviorist to address some of his issues, and I strongly recommend continued work with one (I am willing to cover up to 5 hours of sessions with an approved behaviorist). I will gladly connect serious adopters with the one we've been working with. He is not always an easy dog, but if you are patient and understanding, he will be an amazing companion. Story
*** COURTESY POST ONLY *** Meet Bizzy! Approx. 13 weeks old | Australian Cattle Dog mix | Birthday: April 13, 2025 Bizzy is a sweet, playful pup with a heart full of curiosity and a growing love for toys, cuddles, and companionship. He enjoys romping around with his siblings and adult foster dog, but when things get a little too rowdy, he’s just as happy to entertain himself with a good toy or snuggle up with his foster humans. He’s doing great with crate training—sleeping through the night like a champ unless nature calls, in which case he’ll politely let you know. Bizzy thrives on structure and would do best with someone who has a flexible schedule or can arrange daytime visits to make sure he gets plenty of out-of-crate time, potty breaks, and enrichment. Rescued from poor conditions at just 8 weeks old, Bizzy has embraced the good life—treats, toys, and all! He’s been friendly with kids, adults, and other dogs, and even his first cat meetings have gone well. This smart, gentle boy is looking for a loving home where he can continue to grow, learn, and be cherished. Ready to meet your new best friend? Reach out to his foster mom, Nancy, at 719-466-1365. Please note: Bizzy is not an AHOTO dog. This post is a courtesy. If you are interested in learning more about Bizzy, please reach out to Nancy at the number above. Thank you! ##2455704##

*** COURTESY POST *** Meet Bex! Approx. 13 weeks old | Australian Cattle Dog mix | Birthday: April 13, 2025 Bex is a cheerful, playful pup who’s always ready for a game of chase or tug with his siblings and the adult dog in his foster home (who just happens to be a fellow cattle dog mix!). He’s full of energy, but also loves pausing for a snuggle or two—he has the perfect balance of playful and affectionate. Bex is doing wonderfully with crate training and sleeps soundly through the night unless he needs a bathroom break, in which case he’ll let you know. His daytime routine includes structured crate time, playtime with his foster pack, independent enrichment activities like bones and lickimats, and some one-on-one training time with his humans. Like any young pup, Bex needs frequent outdoor potty breaks and lots of interaction throughout the day. He would thrive in a home with a flexible schedule or someone who can arrange for daytime visits to ensure he gets plenty of love and engagement. Bex is still being socialized, but has already done well meeting new adult dogs, children, and people—and he’s off to a good start with cat introductions, too. Rescued at just 8 weeks old from a tough situation, Bex is now living his best life, soaking up love, treats, and toys—and he’s ready to find a forever home where he can keep thriving. If you think Bex could be your new best buddy, reach out to his foster mom, Nancy, at 719-466-1365. Please note that Bex is not an AHOTO dog. If you are interested in meeting Bex, please reach out to his foster mom, Nancy, at the number above. Thank you! ##2455712##

Story
Ginger Snap – A Sweetheart with a Freckled Face and a Heart Full of Love! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143       Meet Ginger Snap, a beautiful 9-month-old Heeler/Cattle Dog mix with red-speckled fur and a joyful spirit that’s impossible to resist. Weighing 43 pounds, she’s likely to top out around 50 — the perfect medium-sized companion for all of life’s adventures.       Ginger Snap and her sister, Roxy, were heartbreakingly abandoned in a neighborhood at the start of June. They wandered for weeks, searching for food, shelter, and kindness. Through it all, they never lost their hopeful hearts or the smiles on their faces. Eventually, their story reached a kindhearted rescuer, and with the help of Critter Cavalry Rescue, they’re now safe, loved, and ready to find forever homes.       This sweet girl has quickly proven to be a house-trained, crate-trained gem who loves both people and other dogs. Her whole body wiggles when she greets you, and her warm, loving personality shines through in everything she does. She’s smart, eager to learn, and would make a wonderful addition to a family — especially one with children.       What makes Ginger Snap special:       Crate trained and well-behaved indoors Social with other dogs and very people-friendly Happy, affectionate, and always smiling Smart and quick to learn new things A perfect size and temperament for an active family           Important Note:   Ginger Snap is a bit of a fence climber and has shown curiosity about what’s beyond the yard. She’ll need a secure, privacy-fenced yard or must be supervised while outside to keep her safe and sound. She may still be searching for the people who let her go, but with the right family, she’ll never want to leave again.       If you’re ready to bring joy, loyalty, and unconditional love into your life, Ginger Snap is ready to give you her whole heart.       Interested in adopting Ginger Snap?   Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com for more information or to start the application process.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 5, 2025, 1:19 pm
