Hi, I’m Jäger! My foster mom says I’m ready for my forever home! I love my ball and going for adventures or just a lazy day at home. I am great with cats, older kids and small-medium dogs but other big dogs are not my favorite. I can be nervous when first meeting and I may bark/growl but I’m not aggressive, just scared. Take things slow and once I know that you’re ok, I turn into the biggest cuddle bug. I am house broken, leash trained and obedience trained. I even come with all my belongings! I can’t wait to start my new life in my own home!

He came to us as an owner surrender and is looking for a comfortable home where he can enjoy his golden years.He has lived with another dog and generally does well with canine friends. He prefers to do his own thing and peacefully coexist with his dog friends. Story
Reggie was originally found as a stray. Nobody claimed him, but it was soon found that he had heart worms. We got him healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. As he gained his health we quickly realized that the affectionate happy dog we knew did not do well with cats. Reggie shows extreme aggression to cats. He also has many other typical heeler behaviors and would do best with an experienced owner. He is estimated to be aged 3-5. He loves food, or anything that could be mistaken for it. He strongly prefers women and would do best with older or no kids. Reggie loves going for walks and playing in the yard. He loves to snuggle, but his definition of snuggling is vastly different from most. He is a wiggle worm that sits still for about five seconds at a time, but he loves deeply. A home committed to consistency, patience, and mental and physical exercise will help — grow into a confident, well-balanced adult dog. With the right foundation, the possibilities are endless! 💛🐶 • Around 3 months old • Currently around 15 lbs. and growing fast! • Good with kids, dogs and cats • Adoption fee: $400 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, preventatives, heartworm testing (if age-appropriate), microchip, and dental cleaning if needed.
